KEEDYSVILLE CONSTRUCTION
The existing bathroom did have a sink installed, but did contain an acrylic shower. We wanted to redo the bathroom to add a pedestal sink, and frame the existing shower area so we could tile. Keedysville tore out the existing walls (beadboard), shower, toilet. They drywalled and framed the existing shower area with cement backerboard, and added the plumbing for a new sink. They are easy to work with and professional. They cleaned up the work area.

INNOVATIVE REMODELERS
Our bathroom update went great! Unfortunately we had someone do our bathroom but the work was horrible. The shower tiles were not set correctly so the water would never go down. Gary and Jenny’s team were able to fix the bathroom. They ended up making the shower bigger and included more features such as grab bar and seat. The quality of the work was so impressive. Their work really showed me how bad the old shower was. The shower looks like it should be in a upscale hotel. They did a great job!

HCC Remodeling
Everything went according to plan until we got to the showers and bathtubs. There were leaks in both bathtubs, the shower and the sink. We also installed floor heating which no longer works because the bathtub leaked under the floor. The shower tiles are all cracking since they were not properly spaced and the shower floor is uneven and puddling. We still have leaks in 2 sinks and the bathtub. After a couple initial efforts to remediate HCC completely ceased responding. We are now stuck hiring another contractor to fix all the mistakes which is costing us about 50% of the original project total. Complete disaster, do not recommend

Victor Painting remodeled our main level bathroom to make it handicap accessible. They installed a sloped shower floor that is wheelchair accessible, as well as a new tile floor, toilet, half wall and vanity. They redid the plumbing, which included moving the shower drain. They tiled the shower including the adjacent half wall, and added grab bars where necessary. Everything went really well. These guys work extremely hard and seem to be able to do anything. They are very courteous and professional. I HIGHLY recommend them to others.

We had the basement bathroom finished which included: -Repositioning the bath drain to the center to create a shower which meant digging up and removing the cement flooring in that area running the drain pipe to the center of shower area and replacing the cement. -Framing the bathroom area and building the walls and ceiling with dry wall and special material for the shower area including spackling, taping and sanding -running wiring to electrical box and wiring bathroom area for ceiling fan, vanity light and outlets. -Tiling shower walls and floor and grouting -Painting walls and ceiling -Install toilet, vanity, vanity top, sink faucet, mirror, shelf, towel bar, vanity light and toilet paper holder -Install plumbing for shower, sink and toilet and shower head -Clean up all debris and remove from home -Make sure customer is satisfied with completed job

This project went extremely well and all four bathrooms look absolutely smashing and are so much easier for us to deal with: higher things and safer shower as opposed to side of tub we had to climb over. The two-man team that did all the work except the glass shower door were very capable, very tidy, very nice, and created some beautiful bathrooms. They were here most weekdays from August 2-17. The shower doors were installed Sept 1.

Omar's General Contracting
I used Omar's General Contracting to remodel my shower. The shower was very dated and on the small side based on how it was built not the available space. OGC stripped the shower down to the studs, the shower framing was reconfigured to take advantage of the additional space, the plumbing was moved over to fit the new layout and a bench was added. OGC was very open to listening and talking with me about what I wanted to do. When I moved the location of the bench to the another side of the shower, they accommodated my change of mind. We discussed how that affected the final shower look and we went on from there. It's perfect! The single shower head was replaced by a shower head, a sliding shower head mounted on a bar and body sprays. The frameless glass just makes it so inviting. The tile and finishing work are beautiful! OGC also hung cabinets, replaced a two piece vanity with a three piece vanity and changed the towel bars etc. to match. This definitely ranks as one of my favorite outcomes in a remodeling project.

Walt and his brother, Dave came to fix our basement bathroom. They tore out some of the existing bathroom fixtures and had to jackhammer the shower drain pipe to replace it with a suitable drain for our new shower pan. Then they drywalled the walls and installed the shower pan, shower walls, inset shampoo shelf, shower curtain rod, vanity, toilet, vanity light and mirror. We were pleased with the work done, but there were some minor issues that we noticed and Walt came back to fix the issues. Walt and Dave were courteous and did a good job cleaning up after themselves. It is a little difficult to get in touch with them but we plan on using their services again.

There was very little room (around 8'x5') to work with and Paulo and his team were able to build the shower out to be much larger than the preexisting bathtub had allowed for. They also ended up moving the shower from one side of the wall to the other with no issues.

Recent Review: In the master bedroom there was an alcove area that had a door to the only bathroom on the second level(walk through bath); ideal for a master bath. HCC closed off the door, drywall, installed including plumbing and electrical for the new bath with toilet, stand up shower and vanity. Tiled shower and floor. Then in the old bathroom, replaced bathtub, and surround tile. Retiled the floor, installed a new toilet and vanity. The three bedrooms had closet doors that went from floor to ceiling. HCC removed and installed headers so and more attractive bi-fold doors could be installed. The kitchen had disgusting cabinets and counters. HCC installed new cabinets and granite counter. They also installed the toilet and pedestal sink in the lavatory on the first floor. During installations, they found faulty wiring and worked to replace. They also installed pot-lights in the kitchen. At one time, the upstairs worked and the downstairs did not so they had to troubleshoot the issue. We purchased the tile for the bathrooms, vanities, toilets, kitchen sink, kitchen cabinets, hood range, and closet doors. HCC provided the rough material, granite counter, plumbing, electrical material. The workers were very skilled and the workmanship very good. We didn't have a clue who to hire as we are in Michigan and were helping our son with his first home. Angie's list help us find a really great company who were able to get into the job right away and work with the other companies we had coming in to do floor installations.
