First, I must say that this book would get 5 stars on the graphics alone - positively brilliant. I really enjoyed the story, very creative and different than anything I've ever read before. My 6 and 7 year old kids loved it as well. I totally recommend Silver Cord!

Managed to find a copy at a used bookstore, my boyfriend bought for me, and it is hands down one of the best books I’ve read in entire my life . Amazing story and art. I’m not going to spoil anything in this review. But I will say it perfectly coalesces to genres that usually oppose each other (sci-fi and spirituality). 110% recommend this book to anyone. The book itself is also very top tier. Full color pages, high quality paper, it’s pretty huge and very heavy but once you’re a few pages in it really doesn’t matter. The amount of work the creators, writers and artist put into this book is outstanding. It’s hard to believe it was crowdfunded and not published by a mega corporate publication company, which makes me appreciate it much more. At the end of the book the creators talk about the entire process of creating the series, and give credit to everyone involved. Very cool and insightful, there’s even a few pages of profiles on everyone involved and some small interviews. I read the entire thing in one sitting and will definitely be re-reading it soon. I really hope they continue this series but that requires lots of support and funding. A huge reason I’m writing this review (something I hardly ever do) is get this book into more hands. You will not regret purchasing this amazing book.
