Greg Spivey RemodelingWe moved into our new (existing) home in Sept 2021 and wanted a complete re-do of our fireplace. And a 3rd bay added to our garage for storage space of our lawn and other outdoor equipment. Having contracted Spivey Remodeling in the past at our previous address and being very pleased with their work, we contracted them again for our new home. The old fireplace was stone from top of chimney down to the foundation. The new fireplace is very elegant and a stand out from what it was. The garage addition turned out super! It blends in with the rest of the house and the neighborhood. It looks like it was always there. Thank you to Spivey Remodeling and crew.- John N.

Weatherguard Windows & DoorsHonestly, this was probably the best experience (contractor AND non-contractor-related) I have ever had in my life. And I have had some pretty great experiences. I was coming off of a ridiculous quote from another well-known window company so I was apprehensive to see how the initial meeting was going to go. Joe put me at ease right away - he was friendly, courteous, funny and (most importantly) a straight-shooter. I never felt like he was "selling" me anything but rather looking out for my best interest in wanting to update my windows and door. He gave realistic expectations regarding timelines and scope of work in addition to providing some much-needed comic relief about the process. I almost wish I had a need for windows and doors more often - THAT'S how perfect this all went. Weatherguard Windows & DoorsJoe with Weatherguard Windows gave us a very reasonable quote for 4 Pella wood windows (aluminum clad on the outside for easy maintenance). The 4 windows were installed in June 2021. Three of the windows were installed in a kitchen bay area (see picture of bay) and the fourth in an upstairs bedroom. Harold installed the windows and did a very nice job. Harold made sure the openings were plumb (our house is 30 years old) and the new windows fit perfect and look great. Harold cleaned up the work area after the job was complete. We have hired Weatherguard multiple times for different projects and have been extremely pleased with their work.- Debbie M.

Curtis construction removed the spindles in our hall connecting to the living room. They were efficient, on time, and did an excellent job repairing the structure where he spindles had been. They called and said all our windows were in and scheduled install. They showed up and at the end told us they "lost" two windows and didn't bring the tools for the basement window install. Mr. Window then told us two of the windows were not on the truck. Months went by, months of lie after lie after lie. When our "lost" windows the factory "forgot" FINALLY arrived? He DEMANDED we prepay to get them installed like WE owed HIM something. He then lied repeatedly to my fiancé and proved, yet again, that he is not only a horrible business man, but a poor excuse for a man. Only at the very end did they admit they damaged two of them. This guy is a slimy dishonest piece of garbage. Avoid at all costs!

This is my second experience with Amos but the first project has yet to be completed (window replacement) so I'll update my review after that, BUT - Brian Clampitt came and fixed a roof leak and took the time to find the leak. I've had two other people come out and not take the time to find the actual issue and just suggest I replace random expensive things. Thank you SO much for spending your evening with us and I hope you get some good rest!

We needed new siding on the second story of our house and we needed new gutters. Tom came out and explained everything to us. I was super impressed that he did not try to oversell his product, unlike the other company that gave us an estimate. He told us what we needed, and more importantly, what we didn't need. We bought James Hardie siding and I am very happy with the product and the installation. The price was better than the other estimates, mostly because the other companies tried to sell us things we didn't need. Tom, our representative, was very knowledgeable and easy to work with, I highly recommend him and JD Hostetter.
