    Horizon construction & Remodeling remodeled/updated both my master and the main bathrooms, which were in their original mid-60s construction state. David Eskin and his team of tradesmen helped bring my vision to fruition. As with any project, once the walls were opened up, some revisions were required; based upon their expertise and experience, Horizon was able to provide a few suggestions and a few “tweaks” to address these revisions. I couldn’t be happier with the results! Both bathrooms are much more functional and beautiful! Horizon also did some minor improvements in my laundry area – again improving the functionality and looks! Note: Remodeling costs did not cover much of the material costs. I had already selected and/or purchased some of the building materials; I did research and purchase much of the remaining materials (tub, vanities, tiles). Horizon does have its own showroom, and could have provided these at an additional cost. However, because I already had a firm idea as to what I wanted, I handled the ordering of these myself

    I worked with Supreme Remodeling last year to rebuild house for me in Burbank last year. It was a long and arduous project that involved demolishing 50% of an old house down to the studs and then building an attached addition from the ground up. I sent out my completed architectural plans to at least 15 different companies, and took interviews with many of them. Received bids from maybe 5-6 different ones. Here's what the difference was. First of all, Micky the owner of Supreme remodeling took the initial meeting himself. He was in no way pushy or salesy in any way. He was patient (it took a month for me to come to a decision). I was able to look at ACTIVE construction projects that he had going on. He was extremely knowledgeable on all of the new building trends and he has a good eye for design. Once I signed on, it took about 9-10 months to complete. He has a good roster of subcontractors that he works with. But his inside guys Eddie and Ronell are outstanding. In the end the real difference that sets Supreme apart has to be the service. Micky and his staff are very available and responsive. Even on a Sunday night he's active and communicating the following weeks work. If there's an issue he's on top of it. And even though the initial cost of the project was high, you definitely get what you pay for and to be honest, it is a very common experience to have contractors to offer you a lower price just to rope you into a situation where they constantly barrage you with extra charges during the project because they weren't "in the contract". All in all I would definitively work with Micky and supreme again in the future on any projects that I have coming up

It's rare you hear someone say they loved working with their contractor but it's true - we genuinely had a great experience with them throughout the whole process. We remodeled and added onto our kitchen, converted our garage to an ADU and designed front/backyard landscaping. Shai and his crew were always on top of it and very organized. For instance - he sent me a weekly schedule every Sunday and if new or unexpected work popped up - he would send a docusign same day so everything was always agreed upon in a formal way. They showed up when they said they would and kept to the schedule even during a pandemic. Their attention to detail, safety, and overall quality control was top-notch! I cannot recommend them enough and would use them again in a heartbeat

The whole process only took four days and the workers went over and above to keep us informed of the progress and maintaining a clean work area. We were impressed from the initial meeting where we discussed and deciding on the terms and conditions to completion of the job. They were not pushy or try to upsell their products.     If you need work of almost any kind performed, Pier is your guy to call. He takes great pride in his work and will make sure your job is done RIGHT. All of his sub-contractors for each type of job were also very competent and efficient. Pier is expensive. But we now have had him do 3 jobs to either correct work that previously have been done poorly by other handymen or contractors, or to do unusual work that other handymen could not do. And there were a few ‘extra’ small things that he did without charging us for. The current work he’s just finishing now was extensive and involved several areas. They include: Replaced many rot or termite-damaged beams and fascia boards. One of the beams was 500 pounds that ran along the entrance of the house. The new beams, posts and boards were treated for termites and painted to match our existing ones. Patio Covers: Installed tinted Polycarbonate panels to cover our front arbor/patio area and the kitchen side at the back of the house. We needed protection from the sun for our shade plants in those areas, and the tinted panels look much simpler and cleaner looking than the entire back patio panels that we had Patios By B&B do that were such a disaster. Gutters were installed for both new panel-covered areas. Outdoor Electrical: Convert our low-voltage coach lights to 110 volts, install new Coach lamps that we purchased, and added new LED bulbs for those and several areas of our existing outdoor lighting. (We got tired of our halogen ones burning out all the time). Front Patio Pavers: Fix paver leveling on two small sections of our patio. One of the sections had to have a huge root dug out and removed from a previously removed tree that had created a huge ‘mound’ along the walkway. The other small area was to correct the leveling of previously placed pavers that did not flow water towards the existing drain

    I contacted Reliance for an estimate in September. The sales representative was Kevin, who is very experienced and personable. We went over the house e.g. stucco repair, painting, window replacement, etc. He reviewed in detail what would be done and when. He spent a lot of time with me explaining everything. I was very comfortable with him and what the company could do. I got another estimate, which was less than Reliable, but the sales person was not as detailed. They started within 10 days and finished on time. All work is excellent and met all expectations. Kevin also pointed out areas that should be addressed. I agree with most of the work to be done and all pricing was reasonable. I have no issues recommending this company. I also met their workers who were dedicated and specialist in their field. They were very respectable, especially with my mother who has dementia. They left the house clean. Can't say enough....

    The estimators were good, presentation was convincingly great.. paint materials to be used were discussed and show the thickness and quality to deflect heat (cool-wall product). However, when done, pain didn’t get even close to the presentation thickness seen during the sample material presentation. Assistant manager came to discuss additional wood needed , not even looking thru the entire balcony, standing still staring at small rotten wood , and tag a price for additional 8k. When I told him to stop the work , he then brought it down to 4K (just for a piece of beam?) I told him I have to discuss with wife, but he wanted me to sign, so he was trying to put guilt trip on me saying he drove all the way down to our place to check… I said, that was a cheap way of excuse since it is his job to be present when needed, and the replacement of rotten wood was part of the original project for 14k already… he wanted to make 8k more. Project manager, shows up but doesn't inspect if the materials being used are according to agreement. The annoying part towards the end was, he was trying to make me sign off the project even the workers still have lots to do, so he won’t have to comeback the next day. And he did not do a walk through… Shoutout: The father and son workers (George and George) are good and very professional and knowledgeable on what they do and needs to be fixed/do (very recommendable), as well as Sebastian the estimator who took time to measure and inspect for a close to accurate estimation. The PM seemed not knowing the scope of the project. Coming to the site not knowing what the estimator has prepared. That’s why the outcome, though looking good, was missing the expected cool-wall looks we signed on during presentation. Another thing, I asked for a minor change, the PM called the owner and I heard him say without measuring, to charge another 1k. I did not go for it. We are Senior Citizen, and feel like, if not taken advantage, taken for granted what really needs done… The funny thing, coincidence maybe, after all the complaints, and sour discussion/texting, and after the project was finished, my suburban was egged .. I never had this hate-experience in 20 years living in this nice and decent neighborhood… maybe random act, but fishy; we live in a col-de-sac, and whoever did it must purposely targeting my truck… they had to turn around to get a good angle for strike. The bottom line, besides the workers. I think management and owner are irresponsible and not paying attention to detail AND OVER PRICING. We paid almost 19K for the exterior-over-the-garage-balcony project and the deck-flooring replacement was not even included…. A riff-of

    I contacted Hoyt for a quote. Charles came out and made a thorough presentation, leaving me with a pamphlet explaining the product to be used. Within a day I received an email with a quote that was comparable (even a little more attractive) than the other half-dozen quotes I had received. I checked references and reviews, and decided to hire them to replace my 20+ year old roof. I was advised that the final cost could be more depending on how much wood repair was needed. I was also advised that the cost was higher due to the cost of wood (pandemic). I needed a start date delayed due to my schedule, which was to the company's advantage. They began exactly when I needed them. Charles even assisted in moving the RV out of the driveway. Demo of the roof was complete in one day. The rest of the work was done efficiently, and crew cleaned up each day leaving the house looking neat. Inspection was easily completed, and work completed in approximately one week, with Charles answering phone calls with questions and assisting as needed. I would highly recommend Hoyt for product, cost, and quality of workmanship
