One of my front porch/landing posts had collapsed on itself and was causing a 5 inch drop of the small roof above my front door. It took a little while for Kyle to come over (he was working on one of my friends houses), but once he showed up, he went straight to work. The new posts look great and the roof is FINALLY straight. I have used this company in the past for a gutter relocation, temporary siding removal, and for slipped roof shingles. Kyle has always come through for me with quality work and very good prices.

He was super professional (not always easy to find with a roofing company!) & courteous. The problems were totally taken care of. While new gutters were being installed I learned that James also does roofing and asked for an estimate to repair a place on the porch roof that had been damaged in recent storms. He provided an estimate and suggested I call the insurance company. James' estimate was lower than the adjuster's. While removing the damaged part of the roof, the crew located the reason why we had intermittent leaks in an adjacent part of the roof, which others had tried unsuccessfully to repair. The situation was thoroughly explained to me, repairs were completed, and we have had two periods of rain with no leaks. The cost was, of course, higher than the original estimate since the work was more extensive, but I believe it was more than fair. James apologized more than once for the increase in price.

We had a leak in the roof and problem with spalling bricks on the chimney. They were quick to come out and give us an estimate, and were punctual showing up to perform the repairs. They replaced a number of shingles and flashing on the roof, installed a new concrete crown on the chimney, replaced a number of bricks and repaired a number of tuck points. All seems to be successful, so no issues with the quality of the work. First problem was that they left a lot of mortar on the deck and (somehow) on the driveway. They were not particularly responsive about coming back to clean it up, they always had some other jobs that apparently were more important than finishing mine properly. When they finally did (and all credit to the guy who showed up late on a Friday evening) they removed the mortar by abrading the surfaces. I had to restain the deck (was going to anyway, so no big deal) but the driveway will never be the same again. Worst aspect of the service was the billing. From just about the moment their truck puled away, I started to receive dunning emails and letters, and these kept coming even after they had cashed my check. They returned after a month to waterproof the chimney, and even though I had already paid for this the emails demanding payment started again. I will not use this company again, I'm sure I can find another provider that will do as good a job, leave less mess and not treat me like a con artist.

Recent Review: My wife asked, why are you bothering to contact a roofer from Indiana to do a standing seam metal roof in Eastern Ohio. I told her because this was the only company that I could find that made the roof to order on site. All others came pre-cut and had the potential to be problematic on a very old house. The salesman came on time, told us we were absolutely at the eastern-most end of what he considered his territory, and what made sense travel-wise for his company. He made a very strong case about their workmanship and the quality of their product. After talking with several others who were "installers" we decided to go with Coronet. They showed up on the appointed date with 4 workers, and their machine to make the roofing panels on a large trailer. Our roof needed some structural adjustment in order to to be flat, and they were prepared to make those repairs. Indeed, they felt they had to do this in order to be able to install their roof. They made the neccessary structural changes. They put on the roof as planned. They needed to remake some edge pieces that they brought pre-made. They tried to rent a metal bender, but those available at tool rental places were inadequate to do the job. They found a metal shop in a nearby city that was able to properly bend the pieces that were needed. They installed a beautiful standing seam metal roof on our 1830s house. It took them two days. They used a magnet to pick up every minute piece of metal in our grass around the house. The roof is beautiful. They did an outstanding job. We could not have chosen a better company. They solved every problem they encountered. The workmen were knowledgeable and professional. The roof has been in place for one and a half year and it looks as if it had just been installed yesterday. The material used was thicker than most metal roofs. The coating is guaranteed not to fade. I have absolutely no reservations in recommending this company based upon the work that they did at our home.
