The project is led by the UA researchers, Mauro Hernández, Virginia Barciela and Gabriel García Atiénzar, of the Prehistory Area of this Department.

The archaeological excavations will be supervised by the UA and will be directed by the Professor of Prehistory Alberto J. Lorrio.

Por la situación excepcional y la obligación de adoptar medidas de precaución sanitaria, los másteres de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la UA se impartirán durante el curso 2020-2021 en régimen bimodal o dual*. Esto implica garantizar que las sesiones teóricas se podrán seguir de manera presencial (hasta un 75% de la capacidad del aula), pero también "online" y de forma síncrona a través del Aula Virtual que está diseñando la UA. Esta segunda modalidad será preferente para aquellos alumnos que pertenezcan a alguno de los grupos de riesgo o que residan fuera de la provincia. Para las sesiones prácticas (salidas de campo, laboratorio, prácticas de ordenador) se establecerá la presencialidad como principal vía, aunque estableciendo diferentes medidas de seguridad (aulas amplias, división de grupos, desinfección constante de los materiales docentes, etc.) y organizativas que faciliten el seguimiento de la docencia para aquellos estudiantes de fuera de la provincia (concentración de las sesiones prácticas, especialmente durante el primer cuatrimestre).

Yesterday ended the fourth campaign of excavations of the Domus project in La Alcudia

In the closing ceremony of the academic year 2019-2020 of the University of Alicante, held today June 11 in the Auditorium of the University, the list of professors  who have obtained the rating of "Excellent" of the Docentia program.has been read.

Among the 136 people from the University who have obtained this qualification are Dr. Gabriel García Atiénzar, Dr. Pilar González-Conde and Dr. Juan Manuel Abascal, PDI of this Department.
