Support » Fixing WordPress » Subscriber no acces

  • When logging in as a regular user (subscriber) in the frond-end, the login page doesn’t let you login. Instead it redirects you to the sampe page with link: https://derodegids.be/wp-login.php?noaccess=1&redirect_to=%2Fmy-account%2F.

If you use the wordpress back end login and try to login, the error: this account does not have sufficient rights to access (because it’s a subscriber account). After this action, if you go back to the site, that subscriber account is logged in.

    Username: test01
    pass: test01

All normal settings are double checked.

Any ideas how to solve this front-end login redirect issue?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of your troubles.

If you can install plugins, install and activate “Health Check”: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/
It will add some additional feature under create a new menu position Tools > Site Health.
On its troubleshooting tab, you can Enable Troubleshooting Mode. This will disable all plugins, switch to a standard WordPress theme (if available), allow you to turn your plugins on and off and switch between themes, without affecting normal visitors to your site. This allows you to test for various compatibility issues.
There’s a more detailed description about how to use the Health Check plugin and its Troubleshooting Mode at https://make.wordpress.org/support/handbook/appendix/troubleshooting-using-the-health-check/

    Hey man,

    thanks for your reply.

Conclusion, the error is in the theme. All plugins disabled and the issue still remains.
Any ideas on how to bypass this?

the error is in the theme

Since you use a commercial theme (ES10) and need support, please go to their official support channel. In order to be good stewards of the WordPress community, and encourage innovation and progress, we feel it’s important to direct people to those official locations.

Forum volunteers are also not given access to commercial products, so they would not know why your commercial theme or plugin is not working properly. This is one other reason why volunteers forward you to the commercial product’s vendors. The vendors are responsible for supporting their commercial product. Commercial products are not supported in these forums.
