Support » Fixing WordPress » Error log shown – unable to activate elementor pro version

  • HI Team,

Need urgent help from someone here.

We have recently migrated our cpanel data as is from one server (godaddy) to another (hostgator) but haven’t yet pointed the live domain to new server.

While we are trying to modify/upgrade the website (look & feel) front end & for that we are trying to install elementor plugin (pro version) & trying to activate the plugin with license the login is routing to my main domain’s wp admin panel.

Can someone here help why is that happening?

Below is the error log reported. Is this related to the error what is described above?

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/pcstudio/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php:4757) in /home/pcstudio/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1329

Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /home/pcstudio/public_html/wp-admin/includes/class-bulk-upgrader-skin.php on line 152

    Kindly help asap.

    Thanks
    Shashikant

    Hi, @shashikant91

Since you use a commercial plugin ( Elementor Pro ), please go to their official support channel. We feel they are best equipped to support their products.

    https://my.elementor.com/support/

Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial products, so we would not know why your commercial plugin is not working properly. Commercial products are not supported in these forums.

    Kind regards!

    Hi @vladytimy

    Thanks for your response.

I have raised a support ticket in their forum as you mentioned.

However, do you feel all the above mentioned error logs are reported for this plugin only?

I have many such logs(repetitions of above ones) and hence wanted to check if my website is in danger. The elementor support has asked me my login credentials and I have shared them too.

Let me check with them on that but wanted to check if there are any other issues logged in the above ones which are not related to elementor.

Right, I see there’s a notice, not an error coming from better-wp-security plugin.

You can ask about that issue (if the notice persists after fixing the elementor errors ) at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/better-wp-security/

The elementor support has asked me my login credentials and I have shared them too.

Please note that on these forums (WordPress.org) we never ask (directly or indirectly) for any kind of access (login credentials etc). What happens on other site has that site’s policy.

To identify where the issues are coming from, you can disable all plugins and then activate them one by one. But it seems Elementor is your main issue here. If after they fix this for you you continue to have issues, you can come back here with a new topic describing your new problem.

    Regards!

    Hi @vladytimy

    Thanks.

Let me wait for them to come back to me with a fix. Actually on my old server (current website) no issues were logged.

Only once I started using the new server (changed the theme, removed unwanted plugin) & tried to install (activate) elementor this issue has started showing.

Anyways, thanks for your time. Let me get this fixed from elementor directly.
