I have a Maytag refrigerator that was periodically leaking from the bottom. I reached out to Bill through AL and scheduled for him to come out. He diagnosed the problem and told us that i) a part needed to be replaced and ii) since the part was defective, the repair should be covered by warranty through Maytag - he told us he would fix it, but that we should check with Maytag first. We called Maytag and dealt with a serious run around from them. They did eventually get out and replace the part (had to come twice since they didn't have the part on the truck), but they failed to complete the repair by clogging the drain. Bill graciously came out the next day and fixed what Maytag could not. Could not be happier with the customer service, knowledge, and approach from Bill.

OUTSTANDING - Mr. Pius is the 36 year Owner of Peaco Appliance Service, and he is the principal technician. Mr. Pius did an EXCELLENT JOB from start to finish. He began by accurately diagnosing my problem over the phone. He arrived promptly within 30 minutes of my call, and then he expertly replaced the water pump on my 20 year old Maytag washing machine. He even reloaded my laundry after making the repair. I could not be happier at the prompt, courteous, EXCELLENT service and the effective repair that Mr. Pius so efficiently and knowledgeably provided. Peaco Appliance Service and Mr. Pius richly deserve the A PLUS RATING on Angies List. BRAVO!!!! And THANK YOU!!!!!

The whole experience has been a nightmare from the very start, and 5 weeks later, the dishwasher is still not fixed and I have been charged $60. In trying to sort this out, the repair staff as well as the office staff at Betty's Maytag have been extremely unprofessional and rude (screaming into the phone and hanging up on me). The Maytag Company, has referred me to another Appliance Fix-it Company and I am hoping to have better service. I will never use Betty's Maytag again.

My four year old Maytag dishwasher was starting to act a little crazy. I didn't want to deal with Maytag and the people who sold me the dishwasher were too far away. So I checked Angie's List and this guy had lots of good reviews and he was close by. I told him my problem over the phone and he pretty much figured out what was wrong. He asked for the model number so he could look up the part and told me he would call back. He called back in about a half hour, told me the cost of the part, the cost of labor and that he could come out and do the repair the next day and he gave me a two hour window that he could make it out. He came out during the early part of the two hour window, had the part that was needed and made the repair. He even provided some advice about another appliance that was giving me trouble (a washer) and re-secured an access panel on the dishwasher that had been loose for years. I highly recommend this guy. He's good at what he does and he's a straight shooter.

Technician arrirved during estimated window and was polite . Before even looking at dryer said would not be repairing today because he had no parts on truck. Spent more time looking at his computer than on at my dryer. Finally got codes and then said could t get part. Still had to pay $120 service call fee

My Matag dryer wouldn't heat. I tried some of the others on the list but they didn't have evening or weekend appointments. ABS has both. They showed up within the two hour promised window and were out in less than an hour. The dryer needed a new heater coil. While they may not be the cheapest they certainly saved me a lot of time and missed work by coming on Sat. I would use them again!

Lid switch needed to be replaced on washer, and Ben's assistant came to fix the Maytag washer. Though there were a few "hiccups" in terms of getting the washer to work properly over about a one-week period, which required a few visits, I would still highly recommend Ben's company overall. Ben himself is extremely professional, kind, and courteous. And what impressed me the most is that when things weren't necessarily working with his assistant's work/service (these were all very minor "issues" on a rather old washing machine), Ben himself took full ownership, came out to my home himself, and fixed all the remaining issues without charging any extra money or making a big stink about anything. Now that is what I call a professional company! Start to finish is extremely important. I've used other companies before, and when and if you are not completely, 100% satisfied with the service, the other companies will try to point the finger back at you. What really impressed me the most is that Ben and his Superior Appliance Service company takes full ownership of the work that they do. Comparatively speaking, it's hard to find companies like this, which is why I am giving them an "excellent" rating. One recommendation for future customers - if his schedule permits, try to be sure to actually have Ben, himself, come and do the service (if he can, of course). It's something completely different and an entirely different level of customer service when the owner of the company is providing the service.

After Corey had diagnosed the problem back in Dec, we were left with a decision...a new washer or a very expensive repair. After looking I was very disappointed with the washers on the market. In the meantime, our frig had a problem, and when Corey came to take care of it, he explained that the company had gotten a new tool and was doing a trial fix on a washer with a similar problem. It would be a cheaper repair, than first suggested. The repair was a success...So, Corey did the repair on my washer also...and now,I am doing my wash without sounding like It is going to the moon.

Our Maytag dryer was making a horrible noise, but it seemed to be drying to clothes just fine. The problem ended up being easy to diagnose and the Maytag was pretty easy to fix. The blower fan needed replacing, along with a drive belt that was not in awful shape but we agreed, replace it now. The parts were ordered and he was able to come back the same afternoon to fix it. He did a thorough job also cleaning out the inside.

My Maytag Neptune washer was making a noise like a bearing or belt was going bad. I called Betty's for service. The service agent was terrific - professional, courteous, and easy to get a time scheduled. I can't say the same about the technician. He was grumpy, rude, and came full of attitude. He wouldn't answer simple questions like "How long do Maytag washers typically last?" The answer I got was "I cant answer that question" spoken with disdain. I'm sorry, but you service washers every day. One would think you have some form of insight on this, certainly far more than I do! Every time I tried to solicit some idea if this was typical for a 7 year Maytag washer or not I got an unprofessional response. I gave the technician a piece of my mind and prepared to throw him out but I needed the washer fixed (with house full of kids). Turns out the washer didn't make the sound when I ran it for the technician (of course) so I paid the minimum service charge and threw the guy out.

Original point of contact when asked concerning the charge for a house call told us that there was a $70.00 charge for all house calls plus any parts and labor. The repairman did not know what he was to do when he arrived at our house. He did not do anything to the washing machine except look at it.He stated machine was not repairable as Maytag no longer existed. He said it would probably cost $2000 to repair. It was his suggestion that we use the washer as it was until it would not work any longer. When pressed to tell us what was the problem he said it was probably the ball bearings and the entire drum assembly would have to be replaced. All this without looking into the machine or starting the machine. When he was ready to leave I presented him with a check for the agreed amount of $70.00. He said that would not cover the house call as he charged $129.00. He went to the truck and return stating that he had called his company and they agreed that the house call was indeed $129..00 not the originally agreed to $70.00.

Service window was from noon to three - I received a call from serviceman at 1145 that he was on his way and he arrived right at noon. He got straight to work after I described problem, which turned out to be due to nothing more than a loose connection behind the circuitboard. He repaired the connection. He then checked to make sure the intermittent operation of the machine I reported was not due to any leakage (no sign of corrosion or water in the electronics) - provided an estimate for replacing the circuitboard just in case the problem wasn't actually resolved - but assured me that almost certainly it WAS fixed - and left around 1230 after making sure the machine was actually operational. Pros: Punctual, quick, professional, honest - with no attempt to sell me on a replacement or repair of a part that wasn't necessary. Only charged me $69 for the service call, and in the unlikely event I do need to replace the circuitboard over the next few weeks, they will deduct $69 from the cost of the follow-up visit because it will be considered part of the first service call. Cons: None whatsoever I will use these folks again if I ever have any issues with any of my kitchen appliances

The technician was prompt in responding to my call. The estimate was lower than the technician originally thought, so we went with repair rather than replacing the unit, and the stackable are pricey. It was a two person job, so two technicians had to come. So far, so good.

Recent Review: Communication throughout was excellent from this service. The technician came on time and even called a half hour before to let me know he was on his way. He replaced the defective part and also noticed something that was causing a tiny leak - which he fixed. I really, really appreciated that!

Recent Review: Contacted the company as referred by Home Depot. Amy, the contact, was very responsive and polite. Set appointment, called the day before to give me the time frame the tech would be here and provided me with the website way of tracking the progress of the tech. When the tech arrived, he looked at the machine, started it and listened to the noise. Told me with the $120 diagnostic fee, labor and the part which would have to be ordered the cost would be @ $300. He then stated that his suggestion would be to purchase a new machine (which I had already considered if the cost was over $300). I really appreciated his honesty. He further stated that the noise might be irritating but that it was not dangerous to continue to operate the machine. In the end he stated I could just state that I didn't want the repair and he would wave the diagnostic fee! Wow. That kind of integrity is not usual business and I really appreciated it. Even though I did not have the repair completed I was extremely impressed with both parties that I had contact with and will definitely call them again when needed.
