    Still a lot of work to do, but the first result are here :) actually will help you to simply generate basic image for 1, 2 3 and 4 families in 32 or 64 bit. Just a minimal stage4. Hope you'll find it useful 😃

    With or without FEATURES=parallel-install? You want me to compare the gentoo defaults or optimized configs? I suspect with binpkgs that the feature I keep mentioning matters more than emerge --jobs would, but I suspect there is some overhead to invoking emerge per package

    Amazing job by on WSL, in just a couple of hours I was able to make my own "distro" (with it's own custom "launcher", etc) using the reference launcher by and a standard stage3 tarball (with min modifications) outstanding job!

    So, some more days went over and I'm finally managed to boot on my lil 💪 Seems "genkernel" built a 64 bit kernel instead of a 32 bit 🤷‍♂️🙄 Copied over the install kernel and modules from the Live CD ... and Heureka!

    install the right distro gentoo-source follow upstream with a minimal set of added patches

    If not, then you are using the wrong distro. Seriously. And yes, I know of a few that do, once every other week is usually good enough, but if you can't reboot your machine each week at the least, then your system design might not be the best :)
