How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because Clear Choice Bath originated from Marble Works, Inc., which was founded in 2003 by Toby Tyler in his hometown of Carlisle, IA, a suburb of Des Moines, IA. Toby started in the home improvement industry in 1992 working as a finish carpenter and remodeling contractor. During this time he began fabricating custom countertops. Engineered composite vanity countertops was a product that he would buy from various vendors to put into many of his projects. Toby was unsatisfied with his vendor options in terms of quality, product offering, customization and lead times and he knew there needed to be a better option in the market place. This vision of a higher quality, full service product offering eventually gave birth to Marble Works, Inc and Clear Choice Bath. In 2008, with a great team of sales, installation, office and production personnel in place, Toby began plans to expand the reach of Marble Works and Clear Choice Bath to Minneapolis, Omaha and Kansas City in addition to Des Moines. With .

Had 2 baths and a half bath remodeled, top to bottom. Price was good and customer service is top notch. Very responsive to our needs and any changes we made along the way. The workmen were pleasant and always on time.

They are a full service quality remodeler. We had 2 bathrooms totally gutted and fully replaced. Clear Choice did all the work and installed all components, including custom fitted cabinets, floor tile, electrical, etc. They were on time for each appointment and completed the job in the original estimated timeframe. A truly professional job that transformed the former rooms into beautiful, functional bathrooms that have already received high compliments from family and friends.

Although schedule 6 weeks in advance, we had to reschedule because the new vanity was not quite ready.
Response by Clear Choice Bath: Unfortunately, Janet, we couldn't come out in 6 weeks due to the back up of our cabinet shop we use. Its usually only a 4 week process but they were backed up, which backs us up. We always tell people that timelines are not a guarantee and it states it on our contracts as well. Thanks for your input and we will continue to due our best to schedule things accordingly.

Material is beautiful. Finished product is better than expected. Robert went above and beyond to communicate with us and we are just so impressed. He even video chatted with us at one point which my wife and I just thought was above and beyond! Brandon and his team know what they are doing! Thanks!

First of all I just want to say you EXCEEDED my expectations.. It really turned out way better than even I could have imagined. Your material is just so beautiful. We heard of you from our friends who used you and we heard nothing but good things so we got a couple other estimates just to see pricing in the market and then had you come out. When Brandon came out he did such a good job helping with materials and colors and had great ideas and helped us tremendously. It was nice because Brandon worked with us to keep a few things and gave great suggestions. The price was right around the other quotes we received and we chose to go with you because of the friends home you did and the finished product just looks so good! The Foreman Robert came out to measure things for us and asked a lot of good questions as well. And then JD and Brandon tore it all out! I couldn't believe the size of concrete they hauled out. Just to see Brandon on the Job helping and at times throughout was really nice. He's very committed to what he does. JD was such an excellent installer and was able to get everything done in the time we expected. We even had a minor issue a couple weeks later with the shower door and they came back and made an adjustment and it just works wonderfully! Everyone there is respectful, friendly, and good communicators. They asked us questions along the way and made sure we were happy! They did such a good job. Thank You Brandon, JD, and Robert! Job well done! I will look to recommend you to others!

Working with Clear Choice Bath was smooth and seamless. Brandon came out to give us an estimate and was very informative and easy to talk with. Robert and Grant did a great job installing and I was surprised at their multi-skill level. They are very good at what they do. From start to finish it took 5 days and it looks beautiful. Afterwards we noticed an issue with our tub drain and they came out immediately and found a hair tie with a lot of hair in the drain. Just impressed with their communication and how prompt they are. Thank you guys... you did a wonderful job!

We had Clear Choice Bath out to remodel our basement bathroom. Originally we were going to go with the company who did our upstairs bath but we were so impressed with the material so we choose them. Brandon was informative and to the point and clearly knew what he's doing in a bathroom since he does the work as well. Their Foreman Robert was prompt, very skilled in all aspects of the remodeling process, and a very good communicator. A couple days afterwards we noticed an issue and without a question they came back and resolved it. We really are happy with the finished result and the fact that they stand behind their work. Thank You Robert and Brandon!

I met Brandon and Toby from Clear Choice Bath at the US Banks Home Show and never had heard of them. We weren't going to talk with them at first because their material looked super expensive compared to the other materials we saw. Also, we had never heard of them. But we asked a few questions and they were very accommodating and informative and very nice. They even gave us ballpark pricing which no one would do at the show. It was really impressive that they were confident enough to tell us a good idea how much this would cost. We felt at ease and invited them out to be our 3rd estimate. We spoke with the two other companies first and once Brandon came out there was no comparison. Their product is just so beautiful. And Brandon is really good at understanding what we needed. He even understood the electrical and plumbing parts which the other two companies didn't. We needed to tear out the existing tub and put in a walk-in tub with jets and we didn't have existing electrical and had to move plumbing. We also took out the over the toilet cabinet and vanity needed custom ones as well. Brandon was very accommodating through the whole process. We signed up with them and we were nervous for the finished result. They delivered beyond our expectations. I mean after being in this bathroom for 20 years it's like not even our bathroom. We just can't believe it. A special Thank you to JD, Grant, and Robert.... you all are craftsman and very skilled.... And of course Brandon... The Captain of the ship. It's very impressive how you manage to even come out to the job and tear out our cast iron tub and vanity and everything. We didn't expect you to be here in work clothes. You are brilliant. Thanks Clear Choice Bath. Thank you so much! You really deserve to be known by more of the general public!

I met Brandon the General Manager and Toby the Owner at the US Banks Home show in February. I was there to get my bathroom remodeled. I wanted to take out the corner neo-angle shower and add a big cabinet there and tear out my tub that was seperate and put in a huge walk in shower. They had really nice showers in the booth and I was trying to figure out how expensive their material would be since it was so much nicer than the companies I've known about via radio and TV. Since I really liked their material I asked Brandon to be my 3rd estimate and he came out in March. He reviewed the material once more with me and I was so impressed with his ability to communicate and understand my need since I am a senior. I wanted moisture and mold resistant and easy to clean and a good warranty and they have it all. More importantly since they manufacture the stone themselves I was able to get a customized shower with a nice bench seat. I was so pleased that because they manufacture and install they know what they are talking about and doing. Even Brandon I could just tell has lots of experience working with HOA's and knew what needed to be done to do my project. Needless to say I was excited to hire them over the other companies. Brandon said he could start the project in a couple months and we did get a little delayed but I understood and it actually worked out better that way. He said 5 days and it was 5 days. The nice thing was that they started on a Wednesday and took the weekend off and came back and finished by Tuesday so I was still able to live comfortably in my place and Grant did such a good job keeping it clean! They even matched my style and stain on the vanity base cabinet to build the new one for the corner of the room where the old smaller shower was. It is beautiful. It is all just so beautiful. One thing I was very happy about too was Brandon was able to give me a little bit of a discount to move forward with the project the same day he came out because I told him I wanted to get on their calendar immediately. They were also able to give me no money no interest for a year so I can take care of one of my dental things I have going on. Clear Choice Bath had a better product and that's why I chose them. And they followed through from start to finish. Brandon visited my house when he could and I just felt so cared for through the process. Thank You so much Clear Choice Bath. Thank You Grant and Brandon! You guys are one-of-a-kind... LITERALLY... no other product as nice as yours!
