Association of Supply Chain Management (ASCM) formerly APICS

ASCM provides students with an opportunity to connect with similar individuals and future leaders throughout the country. ASCM's mission is to foster the advancement of end-to-end supply chain management through a body of knowledge, innovative research, systems, and methods to create value for customers, members, and organizations.

Membership & Fees

Benefits include: Access to ASCM resources for education in operations and supply chain management, ASCM certification, and opportunities to connect with members, student chapters, and ASCM professionals.

Annual membership fee: $0.

Process: Visit the ASCM website and join as a student

  1. Choose the appropriate membership level, then select student from the “See available options” dropdown. 
  2. Complete the discount requirements page using “American Public University System” as the university. 
  3. Obtain an unofficial transcript copy
    • Log into your ecampus
    • Select View Academic Plan under the Academic Plan & Forms menu across the top of the page
    • Select Download Student Agreement under My Academic Plan
  4. Upload a copy of your paid receipt to the Office of Student Affairs to be added to the chapter’s roster.

Campus leadership opportunities are a great way to meet other students, alumni, and faculty at the university while also developing skills in the areas of:

The Office of Student and Alumni Affairs is always looking for people to get involved and be campus leaders, including chapter officers, who lead student organizations like this one. Eligibility

Any student in our Transportation and Logistic program or a related field is eligible to join. Membership drives will be active during the months of April & October.
