Fastly’s network has built-in redundancies and automatic failover routing to ensure optimal performance and uptime. But when a network issue does arise, we think our customers deserve clear, transparent communication so they can maintain trust in our service and our team. Notices will be posted here when we re-route traffic, upgrade hardware, or in the extremely rare case our network isn’t serving traffic. If you are experiencing issues and do not see a notice posted, please email [email protected] for assistance.

New Data Center: Sao Paulo (CGH) Jan 19, 07:00-11:00 UTC
As part of Fastly’s global network expansion, we will be adding a Sao Paulo, Brazil (CGH) data center to Fastly's South America network.

Traffic served by our CGH data center will be aggregated into our South America region for billing and stats purposes. We expect that some traffic currently served by our data centers in neighboring regions will shift to CGH. As such, some customers may see a change in their bills. Fastly’s standard billing rates are located at https://www.fastly.com/pricing.

For customers who require support for Android devices older than 7.1 and who provide their own Let’s Encrypt certificates with our Platform TLS Certificate Management Product, Legacy Customer-Provided TLS Certificate Hosting Service, or Fastly TLS products, this change will require action on your part to avoid any impact to your traffic.

For more information on the update from Let’s Encrypt, please refer to their blogpost here: https://letsencrypt.org/2019/04/15/transitioning-to-isrg-root.html. Please contact our support team if you have any questions or require further assistance.
