I am pretty much obsessed with this headset. I am a recruiter and am always on the phone. I have another Sennheiser headset for my office, but I got this one for when I'm traveling, driving, or working at the beach. People might look at me like I'm a crazy person for wearing a full call center type headset at the beach, but it blocks out noise and the windscreen cuts out the wind so I can be very productive and make all my sales calls with my feet in the sand. The sound quality is so good that my clients think I'm talking to them from my office. Awesome!

Lets clear up some misunderstandings this is the MB pro 1, Its just the headset and contact pin Charger (not the MB pro 1 UC which includes 2 other Accessories not really worth the price tho)
For those of you who don't know Sennheiser is well known for sound quality products this Headset was my 2nd Sennheiser purchase my First purchase were Urbanite XL Wireless headphones.

Im a Truck Driver who was not satisfied with blue parrot headset
at $140 USD, its a great Deal, I would recommend this strongly for anyone using it for business

Clear sound on both ends, sound Test with both windows sound recorder and Skype mb pro 1's mic was much more superior than the Blue Parrot BX250-XT headset, the mic for mb pro 1 does not need to be right on your lip to be heard loud and clear, unlike some other options.

plastic construction, you can wear the headset on either ear very comfortable you forget you are wearing it well balanced on you head as the battery is on the other side, the foam pad on your ear dampens sound quite effectively for when you are on a call, volume slider on the bottom, button with tactile feedback, has voice for power on/off in the on position press once to check the battery, or answer incoming call, press twice to redial.

The charger first impression is that it needs a proprietary charger, however thank sennheiser's brilliance underneath the foam padding there is the Common micro usb connector, easy to remove, a plastic washer like ring snaps off and back on after charging

this Bluetooth headset can connect to 2 devices at the same time if you are using it on your computer with skype (USB Dongle or capable computer required) and you get a call press the button and it answers and switches to your phone, hang up switches right back to skype, This headset is a class 2 device (rating is 10 meters away from your connected Device however not necessarily clear sound at furthest distances)

Bad return policy! Headset did not take or hold a charge well; mute button does not always work

Caution; bad return policy; I wanted to return, but would be charged with both ways shipping, and since I actually opened and tried to use this thing, I would need to pay a 60% restocking fee. So basically shipping two ways, plus restocking doesn't give me much relief.
So, why did I want to return it? The headset did not take or hold a charge well. It's supposed to last 15 hours, and the most I could get out of it was two hours. The mute button does not always work. Others have commented that it's awkward to use, but my mute button just stopped working for the most part.
Here are some good things: the audio quality was pretty good, and they were decently comfortable to wear.

I have had the headset for 4 days and have experienced good to really poor garbled sound on the same phone call, eventually changing to Apple wired earbuds and was amazed at how clear the sound could be. The headset has a mind of it's own disconnects the microphone when on Facetime, hangs up when on the phone and the bluetooth has a range of maybe 30ft. On the plus side the microphone's noise cancelling, when it works, is amazing. The person at the other end of the call did not hear the washer and dryer in operation in the same room. It also gave the best results I have ever had with Dragon. Pity I really enjoyed using it with Dragon(2 stars).

For the most part this is a super high quality unit from a company with a super reputation. Unfortunately I have had an issue with three of these which I bought. I have an iPhone (and Mac) and about once a week the unit drops my call and hang up my call. Needless to say this is not good. I tried everything, rebooting the phone, resetting the Bluetooth link. I contacted Amazon and they were super helpful. They put me in touch with Sennheiser. The rep sent me instructions to download an Updater to load new software but it is for a MS unit. I tried three time to see if they could send me a link for a Mac user but nothing back yet. If they could fix this it is a Five Stars but I am now in Help Center Pergatory.

This is an excellent headset--lightweight, for a headset it's elegant, it has simple controls, and it has multi-device connectivity, huge battery life and very long talk time. I have owned every major brand of Bluetooth device's top of the line offering--I live on my smartphones. This one is well-designed and it simply works better. I can't comment on its durability, but I will after I've owned it for several months of service. They can improve the software commands a bit, but they are adequate. They subscribe to the loudness protocols properly, so it would be hard to damage one's hearing with this headset. I like it a great deal, and would buy it again. The price is about right to market.

I rarely write rave reviews. However, I have to write one with this headset. This is the lightest, most comfortable headset I ever owned. The quality of sound is excellent. I had a small issue with setting it up to my Bluetooth but that was because I wasn't using the right Bluetooth driver. Once everything was set up, everything works as a charm. I use this headset with my DragonDictate software. The accuracy of DragonDictate improved noticeably with this headset compared to another professional USB headset that I owned, especially when my music is on in the background.

False advertising for saying the base is included. Had to send a request to Amazon directly to get the base separately. Second off, for a sennheiser product, this isn't as good as I expected. The audio volume isn't very loud, there is no noise cancelation and the mic is not really adjustable. Given that fact that this costs nearly $200, there are much better quality options out there.
