    American Express Has a Amazon business card as well, but there is a difference. Most people do not get approved for the Amazon Amex Business card or if the do get approved, it is for a low credit-line. The Amex Amazon business card you can use anywhere Amex is accepted but for me, I want a Amazon business card I can ONLY use on Amazon for my business. As soon as your approved, the card appears on your Amazon account automatically. You pay no interest and you have 30 days to pay your balance.DOWN-SIDES:Now when applying, the verification part is a nightmare, Synchrony Bank had a hard time in opening my account knowing I had a verified Business Prime Membership on Amazon and I have 5 other accounts with them. To make things soother before applying, make sure the mobile number on your accounts is correct. Texting you on your verified mobile device will make the approval a lot faster.

    Although the reviews provide enough reasons to NOT apply for this account, I took it upon myself to try my luck. I have personal accounts with Synchrony and I’ve never had any issues with those accounts.

    After applying for my line of credit through my LLC, I was instantly approved for $2,000, I was able to use my line of credit to make a purchase without any issues. A few days after opening my account, I received 2 letters; one with my account info and the other was the authentication code for my online account set up.

    A few days after that, I received a letter from Synchrony Fraud Department stating that I needed to contact them to verify my account. I called them, was transferred around to 3 different reps, no one was able to locate my account.

    After speaking with the last rep, I was completely frustrated because not only was this a headache, she was the rudest person I’ve encountered in a very long time. I ended the call and gave up. Because they couldn’t locate the account, I assumed the account was flagged as “fraudulent” and may have been removed. However, there should still be some trace of my account in the system.

    I went online using the information in the letter received from Amazon.com and set up my online account. The account set up was successful and I was logged into my account. I placed a new order using my line of credit, my payment was declined and my order was canceled. I waited a few days and tried again thinking this would help, my payment declined again and the order was canceled.

    I tired calling again, the fraud department was closed for the evening/weekend. At this point, I gave up! If the account was flagged as fraud, I was going to let it just be, although this was not the best option for my business.

    A few days ago, I received an ebill (and paper bill) for the purchase when I first opened my account.

    I called again to resolve this issue, was transferred around to 3 more reps. After spending 45 minutes on the phone and giving them every number possible (account number, SSN, phone number, EIN), NO ONE WAS ABLE TO LOCATE MY ACCOUNT!

    I now have a bill to pay on an account that apparently does not exist and I can no longer access my online account that was set up because it’s “currently unavailable.”

    DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!

    I've had 5 years of using this. It's had ups and downs.

    First, the paper billing had initially caused me months of heart-ache. For someone that NEEDs a paper trail, and with the cycle of when the bill is printed & mailed, there would always be things not detailed invoiced on the sheet, but I was expected to pay. It took me months of back and forth before I finally figured out I could print out all my transactions, enmasse through the credit-line contractor to pay.

    Second, and my current issue, we got behind for being closed during COVID-19, with no way to physically write a check and send it in. We got back in the office, and no problem correcting this right? Wrong. They only take payment via check or bank wire. Since the latter isn't an option, we're forced to write a check. We would love to be able to pay for supplies and goods via CC like 99% of all businesses, but the corporate credit line won't accept credit card. So now our amazon account has essentially been frozen for all purchases...going on over two weeks now as we wait for snail mail to process. I've tried to get them to release us a few times for a few more days, pay by credit card...nothing.

    So now we're unable to make purchases until a physical person receives and processes our request. This has really hurt us and has been a huge inconvenience. I'm not even sure Amazon knows about this/cares. When I ask CSRs, they tell us to just talk to SYNCB.

    The invoices are extremely confusing and when we go to pay it is for items we purchased a few months prior which normally isn't bad, but can be when we get to the end of the fiscal year. Also the first page tends to list more items then what the total payment due box says which is confusing. Only list on that page what has to be paid for. Lastly, for our account purposes we need the itemized invoice for what is being paid for in the current invoice. Currently I have to find the previous months invoice to get the itemized list so I can pay the current month's invoice. So in other words, the amount that is due should also have the itemized invoice in the following pages in addition to the other active charges. I can't pay for an item if I can't code it in our budget and I shouldn't have to flip between different invoices from different months to figure it out. Keep it simple. These are the only invoices I have ever seen created in such a convoluted way. Every other invoice I handle is clear about what is being paid for accept this one.

    Wish there was a mechanism to have items categorized, such as book, video, video game, office supply, etc. Even if I could input that information when I ordered, it would help with my budget. As it is, I need to go through every invoice (lots) and try to determine which it is and then, if I can't remember, I need to look it up. It is essential to have this broken down for line items within our budget.
