"I liked the fact that he asked before cutting certain trees etc... I have had problems with that in the past with other landscapers"
"Loved these guys. First off, I am a DIY guy, and I do not like hiring people to do work. They never do it the way I would. This does not apply to Koala Tree Care. They responded to my request quickly. Showed up 5 min early to do the quote. Showed up 10 min early to do the work. My kind of people. I had 8 large trees to be taken care of and 1 tree removal. All trees in the 20-25 foot range. Before the work started we talked about each tree and what they were looking to do to it. Then I was asked if I was ok with it or if not, what I wanted to do. I was the customer and could direct them if I wanted to do something different. Then they did the work and if necessary asked questions on the fly. They assumed nothing when it came to my property even asking if they could raise the umbrella on the picnic table they sat at to have lunch. It was a hot day and the umbrella would provide some shade. During the work they accidentally broke a sprinkler because it sticks up high off the ground. They did not hide that and came to me saying that it happened and that they would fix it and they did, we even tested it to make sure that it was done correctly. I mean accidents do happen and they took responsibility and corrected it quickly. I do not give 5 stars easily but these guys were great from the initial meeting all the way to the end. I will be hiring them again when I need to do my trees again in 2-3 year. I would recommend them."
"Mauro, Effie, and Manuel were superb! We did tree and stump removal, drainage, and 860 sf. of pavers in my side and front yard. They took their time, consulted with us when we had questions, and were always very responsive. They did a fantastic job! They came on time and everyday as promised, and were very nice to work with. :)"
"I asked to remove two trees and stump out of one tree. They brought the grinding machine and cleaned after removing professionally. The price was reasonable. "
"Had to reschedule due to weather. Two large trees trimmed and shaped; needed to be topped, but we didn't want the curb appeal ruined for this season. Job was done well with trimmings stacked neatly, on the day before our street pickup."

Home insurance only covers tree removal if it's already fallen and has caused damage. General yard maintenance, like pruning branches or removing a dying tree, is not included in most policies. If you have a fallen tree on your property, check with your insurance company to see if it covers the price to remove it.
You should remove a tree that's closer than 10 to 15 feet to your home because it can pose major problems. The roots can damage your foundation and pipes. If it falls, the chance of damage to your home is significant.
Removing a tree that close to your home requires extra care and planning. You have to make sure that no parts of your home or roof are in jeopardy. Most professionals recommend extracting the roots as well as the trunk and limbs.
