Working meeting between Chairmen of Rostechnadzor and Gosstandart of the Republic of Abkhazia

On September 22, 2020, Moscow. Alexey Aleshin, chairman of Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service (Rostechnadzor) hosted a working meeting with the delegation of the State Committee on Standards Standards, Consumer and Technical Supervision of the Republic of Abkhazia (Gosstandart of the Republic of Abkhazia) headed by its chairman, Galust Trapizonyan.

Within the framework of the interdepartmental Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of industrial safety, training workshops and technical visits to industrial and energy facilities have taken place since 2015 in order to exchange information and improve regulation of industrial safety and energy safety in the Republic of Abkhazia.

At the working meeting, the parties discussed prospects for further cooperation. Alexey Aleshin expressed his readiness to continue to provide methodological assistance to the Abkhaz colleagues within the competence of Rostechnadzor to improve the control and supervisory activities of Gosstandart of the Republic of Abkhazia.

“I hope that cooperation between our countries aimed at strengthening industrial and energy safety will be as dynamic and fruitful as it has been,” Alexey Aleshin said in conclusion.
