On September 18, 2013, Alexey Ferapontov, Acting Chairman of Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service (Rostechnadzor) had a meeting with Allison Macfarlane, Chair of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). The meeting was held on the margins of the 57th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Rostechnadzor and the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority note that a new cooperation on agreement between them is about to be prepared. This was a main topic of the discussion at the September 18, 2013 meeting between Alexey Ferapontov, Acting Chairman of Federal Environmental, Industrial and Nuclear Supervision Service (Rostechnadzor), and Gyula Fichtinger, Director General of the Hungarian Atomic Energy Authority.
