I started work in 1989 at the age of 15 in the glass trade working for one of the biggest glass firms at the time.
I was working as a glass processor working with all types of glass from cutting, bevelling, drilling and shaping.
Glazing also came into it, going off site to do all types of fitting and repairs.
Which is where I picked up the carpentry side of my life.
My high point of working there was when I glazed the Queen's porcelain in the Dorchester Hotel London for an exhibition.
After almost 5 years of doing that I started working for several small traders doing all types of work from painting and decorating to kitchen fitting.
In my late 20s I started to concentrate purely on carpentry and related work.
I've worked for many of the big high end contractors out there installing a very good and professional work ethic in myself and allowed me to grow in character.
I take on most types of work as I have a wide range of skills and knowledge and have a strong and reliable team around me for when its a big job.
I will do small jobs paid by the hour or day rate and can also supply a full and detailed quote.
I am covered by Public Liability Insurance (which I've never needed to use).
