    Inspired by and its last release, we are moving a lot of code to GIO API. Even libcurl code has disappeared. That works well, except , and macOS bundle that are broken yet I don't know why.

    If anyone had such error with development flatpak, I pushed a fix this night (basically we must also use a dev runtime, otherwise you had to install the stable repository too). So feel free to try again (and to report if anything still amiss)! 🙂

    Theme and icon theme are separate things since 2.10 (so you can combine any theme with any icon theme). In current dev version, the Legacy icon theme is still there (though not in the meson port yet).

    Oh and while you are testing this. Please help all the plugin authors to port the plugins to the new python3 based gimp. The more you help them. The faster we get those ported, the more smooth the gimp 3 release will be. Oh and help the gimp team with porting too.

    Ruthra Kumar backported their commit to the 2.10 branch. So expect GeoTIFF import/export for 2.10.24 everyone! 🙂

    Patch by Ruthra Kumar, also, their first contribution to GIMP :) Let's see if this will be backported to 2.10 too!

    Future will retain existing GeoTIFF data on TIFF import, then allow storing them back (exactly as they were) in the TIFF on export (with an optional checkbox if you don't wish to keep them).

    Please vote on the poll :)

    . `Filters > Web > Slice` plug-in slices images along guides and creates HTML table code, a technique from like 20 years ago (web from another century!). Nowadays doing this is absolutely not recommended (to say the least). Has anyone still usage for such a plug-in?

    Hello users, I'm looking for some polite words to use in this jpeg export feature. The idea is to convey what a terrible choice jpeg is, without being rude. (context: Inkscape has never allowed jpeg export before because it's so terrible for vector graphics).
