• Lead WordPress developer on the websites for Pavone Marketing Group’s affiliated companies Pavone, quench, and Varsity Branding
• Redeveloped a WordPress multisite installation of 63 sites for a political party and their committees, senators, and caucuses.
  • Setup dev, staging, and production environments for the new sites and used MySQL to migrate the data over from the old site into the new one. Began learning bash scripting to help with the data migration process
  • Built a custom theme making using of WordPress’s Customizer functions to give the client control over different common features shared among the sites
  • Developed custom plugins in PHP that integrated with the custom theme, including Visual Composer widgets to easily create customized queries with different templates, an E-newsletter creation feature, and the categorization of site types (senator or committee/caucus) for ease of defining site theme and content settings
• Built the front-end for the redevelopment of PAGasSwitch and PAPowerSwitch using Sass and Drupal 7 Omega theme
• Improved the front-end development process by introducing new concepts and technologies such as modular CSS architecture, front-end style guides, Sass
• Built a custom wiki site in Drupal 7 for the development team to document our client projects as well as helpful code snippets, workflows, and third-party tools. Used custom taxonomies integrated with the Views modules.
• Promoted the learning and integration of the development team with the rest of the agency by holding lunch & learns to teach basic code to non-developers, creating easily customizable CMS’s for other departments to build one page sites for potential new business, working closely together with print-based designers to teach the fundamentals of working with the web, and helping guide in-house freelancers and junior team members through our processes and development workflows
