The delay was not due to any work on K&J's part, but simply due to environmental complications (high heat and humidity meant the cleaning stage took longer to dry once completed). "He completely replaced my stairs, railings & stringers. He added more stringers with 16-inch centers,better 4x4 posts than the originals, & topped them with copper solar caps. He widened the stairs for a more symmetrical appearance, added a concrete base for the stairs to eliminate shifting & flooding problems & concreted in my brick walkway so it wouldn’t wash away in the future. Brilliant work. He’s an excellent carpenter. Well worth the money. Neighbors have stopped by to admire his work & complement us on the new look."
