El pasado 18 de noviembre de 2019, tuvo lugar la reunión de la Comisión de Selección del "I Premio al mejor expediente del Grado en Química en el área de la Química Física" con el fin de valorar las solicitudes presentadas.

Siguiendo los criterios establecidos en la convocatoria publicada en el BOUA el 1 de julio de 2019, la Comisión de Selección resolvió otorgar el Premio a D. Jesús Nieves Más.

La 18a edición de la conferencia internacional "Density-Functional Theory and its Applications" se celebrará del 22 al 26 de julio de 2019 en el campus de la Universidad de Alicante, organizada por miembros del grupo de Química Cuántica.

Juan Carlos Sancho, from the University of Alicante Department of Physical Chemistry, takes part in the study that has been published in the scientific journal Nature Communications

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Mendeleev Periodic Table, the Alicante Territorial Section of the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry organizes this contest aimed at high school students, training cycles of intermediate and second cycle of ESO. The contest consists of the realization of a multimedia project on any of the elements of the periodic table.
