Akismet Anti-Spam

Skildring

PS: You’ll be prompted to get an Akismet.com API key to use it, once activated. Keys are free for personal blogs; paid subscriptions are available for businesses and commercial sites.

Installasjon

Upload the Akismet plugin to your blog, activate it, and then enter your Akismet.com API key.

This plugin protected my sites from so many spam messages, I can't event count (but it told me it was several thousands). And I never had an issue where I didn't get an important message.

Automated systems with tiny URL tracker are great for special circumstances but not when it is used to retract all user controls and hand it to a anonymous super user. Sucks when you do the work and you see a flag waving in front of that was paid 125000.00 lol
