Comment: across the entire back of my house, I have a 30" gap between the back of the house and the beginning of the concrete pad. that gap is filled with dirt and stones. the dirt and stones are several inches above the foundation line. I recently had water enter the house during a storm and am told by insurance adjuster that is the most likely cause. I would like to remove the dirt and stones to below the foundation line but then I'll most likely just create a ditch with standing water. Need someone who can create a proposal for how best to deal with the problem.
