New public sector enterprise policy announced today by FM will help the PSUs focus on strategic sectors & make them more efficient and help us realise the full potential for huge sectoral investments and growth in different sectors. This will give a massive push to our economy.

Increased public expenditure on health,investments in ramping up health infrastructure,creation of infectious disease blocks in all districts & setting up of integrated public health labs at block levels will enhance our capability to meet health challenges & future requirements.

FM @nsitharaman Ji has today announced additional allocation of Rs.40,000 crore for MGNREGS scheme. I congratulate Hon PM @narendramodi Ji for his concern and timely initiative to provide adequate work and income earning opportunities to migrant families returning home.

I congratulate PM @NarendraModi Ji for translating #AatmanirbharBharat vision into reality with emphasis on procurement of indigenously produced notified weapons/platforms for armed forces. Indigenisation of imported spares will give a fillip to 'Make in India' and lower imports.

I welcome far reaching agricultural reforms announced by FM today. Proposed amendments to Essential Commodities Act, 1955; APMC Act & legal framework for advance sale agreements to ensure better returns to farmers. I thank Hon PM @narendramodi for these very effective decisions.

Today's announcements will hugely benefit farmers & enhance their incomes. 1 lakh crore fund for farmgate infrastructure, a scheme for global marketing of local agri produce,new schemes to benefit herbal cultivators,fruits & vegetable growers,bee keepers, fisheries, dairying etc.
