    I agree mostly with Dr. Shetty - We can not scale testing with the current kits. We have to find better methods of multi stage testing. 1 big issue: Expecting untested home-quarantined Indians to stay home, is a hope, not a plan. eg. Mumbai; Kalburgi.

    This is ridiculous. Someone from the team staying in a PG has been asked to vacate and move to hometown. How is this going to help?With thousands staying in PGs in Bangalore this is going to end badly. Are there any govt. orders? cc:

    Indians must remain vigilant. I still hear "it must be different here" all too often on the ground.

    Friends from India, I am worried to hear Indian residents buying into the weather argument, getting false confidence. Please act now; it is cheaper and easier. It will be costly later. Don't become an Italy that ran out of hospital beds.

    Some of the challenges we see ahead: 1. Social distancing is a start. 2. Corona literacy 2. Aggressive Testing is critical. 3. Contact tracing is next 4. Growing healthcare capacity & protecting it 5. Ensuring essential supplies .. Folks, do suggest what we might be missing.

    I’m no epidemiologist, but I am a specialist, so here are some thoughts on coronavirus and log scales: 1) In the initial outbreak phase, a virus like this spreads exponentially not arithmetically, i.e a log scale is the natural way to track the spread

    India doesn't have 114 cases of . India has 114 reported cases of coronavirus. huge difference.

    This is scary stuff :( Very High likelihood, that this will be happening in India too - in about 10 days time.

    COVID-19 March 16 Update: I’m going to try to have some of the positives in here, but also present the facts of what is around the corner. This sums up what I know from the Administration, states, manufacturers of gear, hospitals, and major tech companies. And it’s only 4:30 1/
