Customize Your Canvas Prints

Traditional Canvas Prints

With our Traditional Canvas Prints, we take your choice of Lustre, Glossy, or Metallic Paper, make a photographic print, and then peel the emulsion and bond it to a piece of canvas. Then we apply your choice of laminate to the image to help protect the canvas print and to get your desired finish.

Please note that the heat and pressure of bonding the photo to the canvas fabric will create a glossy finish even when Lustre paper is ordered.

Fine Art Canvas Prints

With the Fine Art Canvas Prints, we print directly onto canvas using Epson archival large-format inkjet printers.

Optimized Printing Choices

We always want your image to print perfectly. When placing an order for Fine Art Canvas, be sure to choose whether you want the image optimized for Color or for Black and White. The Black and White workflow ensures all color is removed from your image and you receive the most neutral black and white print.

Canvas Weave Details

The weave is very different between Fine Art Canvas and Traditional Canvas.

Our Fine Art Canvas Prints have a tight and consistent weave that matches the texture most people think of for an artistic canvas.

Our Traditional Canvas Prints have an irregular weave that can have imperfections.

If you have questions about which one is best for your desired look, please contact us.

Traditional Canvas Prints

Use the Photo Prints Catalog in ROES to order Lustre, Metallic, and Glossy Canvas Prints. Once you select a print size, Canvas options will appear in the lower left side. Choose from Canvas loose, Canvas Masonite, or Canvas Stretcher Frame and select if you want an optional laminate as well.

Fine Art Canvas Prints

Use the Gallery Wraps and Canvas Catalog in ROES. Please note that Semi-Gloss laminate is the default when ordering in the Canvas Catalog in ROES. Matte lamination is also available but must be selected. Also, please make sure to select to print your image optimized for color or optimized for black and white. We highly recommend optimized for black and white is selected for any black and white images. This will ensure all color is removed and you get the most neutral black and white print.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What kind of printers do you use?

Fine Art Canvas prints are printed on archival wide format inkjet Epson printers.

  • What is the difference between Fine Art Canvas and Traditional Canvas?

Fine Art Canvas is printed directly on the canvas fabric using Inkjet printers. A Traditional Canvas Print is made using a Photographic Print where the emulsion is peeled and bonded to a piece of canvas fabric using heat and pressure.
