Problem
I believe that when we go from MLE (8.3.1) to MAP (8.3.2) the change in the view of θ should be emphasis.
For the MLE the unknown quantity θ is assumed to be a fixed (non-random) quantity that is to be estimated by the observed data. On the contrary, for the MAP, θ is considered as a random variable (similar to the Bayesian approach).

You can always make a suggestion as an issue tab for apps that are not on the list. I will personally check out the app and verify if it is working, properly mantained, safe to use (as a user not a security expert).
