Steam page showed off three new characters not yet in the game: E. Honda, Lucia, and Poison.

A DLC trailer (since removed) briefly went live on Street Fighter 5’s Steam page, and it’s unclear if it was intentional or not. The trailer shows three new characters joining the roster as well as a release date for August 4, the last day of EVO 2019.

The first new character in the trailer is E. Honda, the sumo wrestler who made his debut in Street Fighter 2. He only makes cameos in Street Fighter 5, but it looks like he will be joining the roster as a playable character next week.

Another new character making their Street Fighter debut is Lucia, a character originally from Final fight 3. She is a detective in the Special Crimes Unit of the Metro City Police, and shares some history with Cody.

The final character leaked in the Street Fighter 5 DLC trailer is Poison. Another Final Fight character, Poison became an official Street Fighter playable character in Street Fighter X Tekken, and later Ultra Street Fighter 4.

Street Fighter 5 had a bit of a rocky launch when it was released in 2016. However, the game was much improved with the release of Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition. You can read our Street Fighter 5: Arcade Edition review here for our take on Capcom’s famed fighting game.
