Two questions that often come up when writing a review are: would you hire this company for another job? and the answer is definitely YES! and would you recommend them to a friend and the answer is already have. The quality of their work is not in question (hence the 5 rating), but there were other criteria that contributed to that 5. The work crews were always on time. If they said they were going to be here at a certain time, they always were. The time slot was usually a half hour period; there was no waiting around all day for them to show up. Each week I was informed about the work schedule for the following week. If there was a time conflict due to my work schedule, it was taken care of. Gene was particularly helpful with this problem. If any issues came up on the job, they were addressed efficiently and quickly by either the work crew or management. This company doesn't only care about the actual work they are hired to do but about the people they are working for. In this unusual time of the pandemic, South Jersey has its own PPE in play: Professional Positive Excellent Many thanks for being the company that you are!

Covered patio added to the back of our house. Great quality, exceptional attention to detail, finished product is awesome. Covid delayed the start of the project, and there were a few minor issues, but Jimmy stepped in and got us back on track right away. He delivered exactly what we wanted. Special thanks to the framers/ carpenters- they did a great job on the kitchen portion of the project. Definitely recommend

Project: Find a Home Maintenance Contract or Warranty Program
Excellent work. Installed kitchen cabinets, countertops, new sink. Did plaster wall repair and painting, along with lighting and electrical upgrades. Friendly reliable service. I will highly recommend

I had my kitchen updated by South Jersey Contracting. I would highly recommend them. Leo painted the cabinets, walls and trim. He also tiled the backsplash. Leo s attention to detail made the completed project look spectacular. Customer satisfaction is a priority

My Bathroom was to be started 4/4/20 then Covid broke out. Jim Barrera's said it would take a month to complete. Then Covid broke out. I did not call because I knew that this would be canceled and he would get back to me. He contacted me when it was safe to start. He not only got the job done less than a month but my once very ugly Hot Pink 1960's Bathroom is gone and now is beautiful! Everyone that he had working on the Bathroom was excellent! We would like to thank Jim and Brian Berrara with South Jersey Contracting LLC. If they would let me give 100 Stars that would not be enough for how happy we are. I would also like to thank Gene Lombardi, Steve Wahl, Brian the Electrician, Ron, and the Plumber Josue Ortiz. You guys are the absolute best!!!! I highly recommend South Jersey Home Contracting. They are reasonably priced and do high quality work. My Bathroom looks amazing!

SJ Home Remodeling did a beautiful job renovating our entire master bathroom. The change from the original was remarkable.jimmy and Brian and the subcontractors were always on top of things and very professional. They were always on time and were very friendly. Keeping the other parts of our home clean during the renovation was always a top priority. They always kept us posted on the next phase and what to expect. I liked the fact that we purchased all the bathroom fixtures, tile, paint, and other finishes. I was able to shop at the places I wanted and take advantage of some sale prices. The end product was fantastic! I would definitely recommend them for remodeling jobs.

We cannot say enough about Jimmy and Brian Barreras and all of the teams they had working on our home. It was a huge project that included taking down a wall to expand and completely gut and redo our entire kitchen as well as turning our downstairs powder room into a full bath with a walk in shower and installing new flooring in 75% of our downstairs. Every crew that came to our home from demo through the finishing touches were extremely professional and could not have been more pleasant to work with. This was a stressful time given the timing since we started demo prior to the COVID-19 lockdown, but Jimmy and Brian worked with us to ensure the project was completed and all of the crews were so careful and accommodating. We we so pleased with everyone that came out, but really need to call out the exceptional work that Martin did in our kitchen and all around. The crown molding looks amazing and his attention to detail far exceeded our expectations. Love this company and all of the top notch teams they work with and will definitely be using SJHC for future projects!
