"We hired Obsidian to come out and see if we could do an addition off the back of our home in the Northside of Richmond, and to have them do a structural inspection of the home to see if anything else should be addressed. Charles and Chris were both extremely knowledgeable, thorough, thoughtful, and enjoyable to interact with during the whole inspection and in follow up. They provided me with solutions to help address the drainage around our property to help address some structural issues with our covered from porch and to help eliminate moisture from our basement and crawl space. They even indicated they would be willing to do the drafting for our addition at a significantly lower price than the architects we had interviewed. Definitely would recommend them for anyone seeking a structural engineering firm."
