    Very fun update to this thread: A tweet managed to make its way to Kevin Kelly and now the Electronic Whole Earth Catalog is preserved on the !

    Some time ago, there was a thread with Kevin Kelly talking about how he had the Electronic Whole Earth Catalog lying around, but how to get it online? About 6 people hopped in; we helped him transfer the CD-ROM. Now it's running at the Internet Archive:

    Had a vague memory of a weird Mario PC game I owned as a kid that came on a floppy disc. Looked it up and it turns out it was 'Mario's Game Gallery' which was developed by Interplay(!) and marked the first time that Mario's voice actor was used(!!)

    Neil Gaiman’s stories always seems to translate incredibly well to audio — ‘American Gods' is one of my favorite audiobooks of all time — so this full-cast adaptation of Sandman (with James McAvoy, Taron Egerton, Andy Serkis, and more) has my HYPED

    The new iOS 14 indicators which pop-up when your microphone or camera are in use are great. It feels so reassuring to know when you’re being recorded, just like the green light on the Mac.

    Did you read some Frederick Douglass today? I recommend you also take the time to read this lesser known speech of his which feels very relevant to our current cultural moment:
