How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because It is true to my nature. Hi everyone! My name is Apollo Holmes and I'm the owner of Holmes Renovations & Repairs LLC. I am a 2008 graduate of ASU with a degree in Business. After graduation I worked as a stock broker at Charles Schwab and enjoyed the work, but got tired of sitting strapped to a desk. I soon left the financial industry and never looked back! I enjoy seeing my work come to life, working with my own 2 hands, and being in a position to always do right by the people I'm hired to work for. I am happy to say that I am pursuing my true passion and purpose in life. My free time is spent with my 2 handsome boys, my beautiful and smart wife (she is currently working on her PharmD at Midwestern University and Im so proud of her!), and of course, my German Shepard..

Project: Hire a Handyman
I ASKED APOLLO TO DESIGN AND BUILD A COVER FOR MY POOL MOTOR AND FILTER! HE BUILT ONE THAT WILL WITHSTAND THE WEATHER OF AZ SUN AND WILL LAST A LONG TIME WITH A MINIMUM OF UP KEEP! HE ALSO CAULKED THE TILE IN THE SHOWER AND TUB AREA VERY PROFESSIONALLY DONE. I HAVE SOME OTHER JOBS TOO BUT I NEED TO GET THE FUNDS TO AFFORD THEM SO I WILL WAIT AND THEN I WILL CALL ON APOLLO AGAIN IF HE IS AVAILABLE. HIS PRICE IS RIGHT AND HE IS DEPENDABLE THAT'S FOR SURE!

I have been using Apollo for several small jobs in the last year, from drywall repair to ceiling fan help. Recently hired him to take out old carpet and tile from my home and install laminate wood. The project turned out beautiful, and Julian and Apollo did excellent work, all while my busy family of 4 had to live, work, eat and sleep in the house. Super respectful of our family, and our time. Always on time, and very courteous. We had priced this job out to 2 other companies, and Apollo's price beat everyone, and I'm sure I made the right choice. He is honest, up front and realistic about every aspect of the job he takes on. Will definitely be using him for other jobs in the future, and will recommend to friends and family .

Project: Hire a Handyman
I hired Apollo twice and would hire him again. He did various small jobs like installing a dog door in an exterior wall, cleaning vents and fans, replacing a light switch, installing a ceiling fan, fixing the garbage disposal and more. He responds very quickly when contacted and scheduled the work within one week. He goes out of his way to accommodate the customer and is polite and respectful of the customer and their home.

Apollo and his crew were very professional, clean, and courteous. I had my old tile floor removed and new wood laminate flooring put down. I was amazed by the cleanliness of the whole process, they paid attention to detail which is very important to me, and ....I will definitely use this company again for my future projects. 110+%!!

As an out of state rental owner, I needed someone to handle a complete turnover for me. Apollo was very eager to do the long list of interior and exterior repairs and get my house ready to show for new tenants. He was able to start quickly and covered all my items. His work was well reviewed by my agent and is an exceptional value. I look forward to having him do other things as they come up.
