Rampa Lab

Laboratory for hacking science, art and society

Rampa (2013) is a laboratory for hacking science, art and society with programmes that develop the potentials within the youth. The experimental environment is aimed at individuals and groups that are interested in the creative research of new and obsolete technologies. Rampa serves as a platform for the incubation and production of art projects by young creatives and hosts the activities of various communities that endorse and support gender equality. Rampa also supports programmes that encourage the young to research the intersections between art, science and technology. Through investigative learning programme, which includes weekly-based workshops within Friday academy (5HEK), children and youth get acquainted with the do-it-yourself and do-it-together methods, hands-on approach, transdisciplinary work, copyleft licensing, open source hard- and software, free sharing of knowledge, ideas and skills.
