Comment: I have a 9.5 by 12.5 foot room with a 7 by 2.5 foot closet. The floor is longleaf pine. There are three areas where the floor has been damaged by cat urine. The total damaged area is 8 to 10 square feet. I would like to have the floor repaired or replaced and finished to match the rest of the room. I’m willing to have whole floor in the room refinished if necessary. It’s possible that the subfloor will need to be repaired or replaced. In addition, the floor slopes down at one short end of the room. I’d like to have it leveled if possible. I realize this is a small job. There are other areas of cat damage in other rooms. If it’s necessary to make the work worthwhile for the flooring company, I’d consider having the other areasß repaired as well.
