"Marlowe is a small eatery in the Mission Bay District across the street from Caltrain station. They have awesome small plates and appetizers such as brussel sprout chips, deviled eggs, and bone marrow. They also have a pork belly summer salad however I was disappointed because I bit into a plum pit (almost chipped a tooth). The service was great in the beginning when there were only a few tables, but once the place started to get packed the service was lacking. We ordered our main entree before the other tables around us and they got their food first. I was a bit disappointed. It was like they got busy so they forgot about us. The daily cocktail board was great. The selection changes often and it never disappoints."See more

"Fringale does not emphasize creativity in the kitchen. Rather, they make traditional bistro and French (Belgian) restaurant food very very well. That's not to say that their dishes are ordinary - they produce variations you might not expect - but you are not going to find blueberry farro salad with cocoa nibs and sprouted basil seeds here. You will instead find the most amazing roasted corn soup I've had in a long time. It was even vegetarian, which was a non-traditional happy surprise. The service is friendly and accommodating. Finally, the restaurant is close to the Caltrain station, which makes dinner after an event in the city easily accessible to those who don't want to drive back the Peninsula after a nice bottle of wine."See more

"What a great find! We went to Osha Thai for a get together with friends and were really impressed. The food is top notch, and offers amazing flavors. We had lamb skewers in peanut sauce, green curry chicken and spring rolls. Each item was delicious. The staff is very attentive and responsive. Our waters and soda glasses never reached empty.
