Commencement save the date

Commencement 2018

Date: Saturday, June 2, 2018

Time:  Graduate (Master's) Ceremony: 10 a.m.
Undergraduate (Bachelor's and Associate) Ceremony: 3 p.m.

Location: Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center | 201 Waterfront Street, National Harbor, Md.

Who's Eligible: Graduates from the Aug. 15, 2017, Nov. 15, 2017, Feb. 15, 2018, and May 15, 2018 conferrals

Registration: Invitations are emailed to eligible graduates. If you did not receive an invitation, or need your invitation resent, please contact [email protected].

What to Expect at Commencement

Here is a sneak peek of what you can expect during commencement weekend. Whether you’re starting your academic journey, you’re a seasoned student working hard toward the finish line, or if you’re about to take that walk across the stage, this section will get you pumped for commencement.

Itinerary

Commencement weekend starts Friday morning at the Gaylord, and is full of planned festivities. In addition to the Saturday commencement ceremonies, we'll hold a service event, alumni rally, and welcome reception on Friday, June 1. We encourage you to participate in all the activities and view the complete itinerary.

Legacy Photographics will be onsite at the Gaylord National Resort on Friday, June 1 and Saturday June 2 providing individual portrait sessions. Bring your cap, gown, and your best smile! A mirror, faux diploma, and other graduation accessories will be available to use during your session.

Regalia and Graduation Accessories

All graduates are responsible for ordering their cap, gown, and university tassel prior to the ceremony. Master graduates' order will also come with a hood. In addition, consider our quality announcements, class rings, and diploma framing options, and show your school spirit with a large selection of university gear. Learn more.

Members of recognized honor societies should purchase their honor society attire directly from the organization. Learn more about student organization regalia, or email [email protected] with questions.
