The new menu is not good. They not only changed the choices but the portions and meat quality changed for the worse as well.
While our server this time was GREAT!!!!! He did not make up for the terrible service we received every other time we have gone there. I keep trying to like this place but it fails every time.

This was our second visit (last visit was Spring 2015). We enjoyed it the first time, but this visit - not so much. Firstly, it was loud - very loud. We sat in the back area and it was difficult to carry on a conversation across the table. Second, we suspect there was a problem in the kitchen as it took a very long time to get our entrees (nearly an hour). Looking around, most tables were without food. And third, although the appetizers were quite good (crab cakes and cheese plate), the main dishes were very mediocre. I had the Steak Frites and the meat was bland and unflavorful. My husband had the Brisket and although the sauce was delicious, the meat was so burnt on top it was inedible. After cutting away the burnt part, there was not much left. Dinner for four (with only two cocktails ordered total) was $183 before tip. Not much value for that.

Service was slow I don't think the kitchen can handle the demand of customers
Portions way too small... A dollop of ice cream the size of butter ball?
Too loud cannot hear my date
Bar Tender does not know how to poor a Irish Coffee.

With a wide array of all levels of types of presentations of meals, the food is well prepared, served in an attractive manner depending of the type meal. The food itself is tasty, satisfying, and one doesn't have to deal with a mound of food, with the ability to ask and receive smaller portions. This all adds up to a favored place to eat.

We had a family dinner at DCG on a Sunday evening and really enjoyed our time. The food was fresh and tasty, and our server was very good. Try the scallops and the ribs! My mother in law loves the deviled eggs and crab cakes. We'll be back

Great steak! Cooked perfectly! Seasoned perfectly. Sides were a little boring...kinda run of the mill...restaurant was loud. Loved the fire pits in the front! You could sit and have a cocktail with friends and hang out or just enjoy while waiting for a table. Service was good.

This is the third time I've been here in recent weeks! It's becoming a favorite even though I order the same thing everything time I go - one of the burgers. Birthday guest loved the salmon and those deviled eggs! The waiter was wonderful and I recommend Dry Creek Grill.

Another disappointment again. The first time we were there, my date and I ordered their steaks. It wasn't good. We didn't even finish it as they were chewy. We gave it another chance, I ordered Filet Mignon again and my date porterhouse as he was very hungry. Oh man, I had requested mine to be medium rare, it came as rare and I had to get it cooked more. It came back same... I don't understand how they can't make it to medium rare. My date had the porterhouse which was very grainy and chewy. He was so very disappointed but embarrassed to get it even returned. their steaks are way overpriced with the quality of meat and how they prepare it.

We enjoyed some great flavor combinations from the Green Chili soup, Brussels sprouts with Applewood Bacon, Grilled Pork Chop and Texas Beef Brisket, along with some nice wine selections. The portions were larger than we expected!

Excellent service. Extensive menu. We ordered the cornbread, which was a little sweet. the steak frites were wonderful, the beet salad tasty with a good mixture of beets, and cheese. Not overwhelming. The prime dip had a great deal of bread, but the sides were good.
The atmosphere is contemporary and our booth provided privacy for conversation.
I would definitely go back.

Was very disappointed. 8 of us for a 50th Birthday Celebration. Birthday girl ordered chicken and got meatloaf. Time to correct was very long. My meal was a 40.00+ filet-cooked medium. was well done, another long wait. I was full but the time it came on sharing. Wait time overall for food was too long. none of our food was comped, although one corkage fee was not on the bill. Unfortunately we won't back.

Very mixed experience.
Pros: lovely decor, tons of parking, delicious steaks (we had 3 different ones), fantastic beet salad, lovely wine list, delicious desserts, service was pleasant.
Cons: I had asked for an easily accessible table when I reserved because we have a mobility impaired senior citizen-but were given a table as far as humanly possible from the bathroom and not terribly close to main door. But we shrugged that off.
Service was very nice and helpful but seemed overwhelmed or maybe new? -weird lags in time, error in entree order, plate almost being delivered to wrong table. Bone marrow appetizer was overly salty.
This was our 2nd special occasion visit here and I am unsure we will be back. Dinner overall was good but for the $400 we spent, I kind of expect better.

We eat here quite a bit. The drinks were delicious as always. Our dinner was good too. We started with cornbread - which is always good, salmon tartar - which was delicious, and the deviled eggs - yummy. Then we had the burger and the pork chop which were really good.

The Air Con was not working so it made our meal a little uncomfortable. Also, I had brisket dinner and it was dry/over cooked, had this several times and is typically tender. So, overall not the best evening with Dry Creek Grill.

Several things didn't work out
It was so noisy that our waiter couldn't hear our drink order. My Cosmopolitan was not great; to much Grand Marnier. I ordered the onion soup which was packed with croutons so it absorbed all the broth.
Lastly the French Dip meat was over cooked and dry.
We may try again. Its very close to house and its fun to walk there
What a great find. Loved the atmosphere ...
What a great find. Loved the atmosphere and the food was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The cocktails could not have been better. We were disappointed that our level of superb service at the beginning of the meal slipped quite a bit toward the end. We ordered a dessert to share, it took a really long time to be brought out, and we had to find our waiter just to order that. Once the dessert came we were done with it before our coffee came out. Fairly disappointing when the service at the beginning of the meal was so extraordinary. The menu was a tiny bit difficult to figure out as well. Ordered the cornbread appetizer, to us it read as the cornbread came out and the things listed at the end were add ons, that was not the case. Not a jalepeno fan, they were cooked into the cornbread. Yet neither of those two things took away from the food or the atmosphere at all. We will be back, matter of fact, already have a night planned there with incoming/visiting family.

This is our second visit and both times our service has been incredible. This time our server was very professional and yet very warm and friendly. We had the gnocchi and a steak. The gnocchi was extremely good, although I will say the serving size was really very small. The atmosphere of this restaurant is that of a very nice steak house; just dark enough to be romantic, yet still an energetic feel. So glad we discovered this restaurant.
Went to Dry Creek Grill for my birthday ...
Went to Dry Creek Grill for my birthday dinner on Monday. I made the reservation through Open Table & made a note on the reservation that it was my birthday. We were seated right away, and our server came to take drink orders and didn't have very much energy and didn't really make eye contact with me or my husband. It got a little irritating when she seemed to only be focusing on him instead of both of us- a little odd to me. Our food was delicious, but she only came to check on us once, didn't bother to stop by and refill our wine from the bottle we ordered & instead she spent her time hanging out with the bartender and another sever. We sat with empty plates (then table after the bus boy cleared them) for a good 10 minutes before she came to see if we wanted dessert or anything. We shared a dessert, but again sat for a good 10 minutes after we were finished before she came to check on us again and then waited another 5 mins at least for her to bring us the check- she only had 3 tables including ours...and wasn't even helping them. At no point in time did they wish me a happy birthday or acknowledge that we were there for a special occasion, which felt rude considering I made a point of letting them know on the reservation.
In short, fantastic food, but the service could use some help.

Good food but pumping bass makes it hard to carry a conversation and the wall of television was a bummer
The bone marrow was amazing , the steak was great. Our server was attentive and friendly, but it still took over 30 minutes to get our salad on a not busy night.
They need to iron out the kinks, and turn off the irritating music. When they do I think it's going to be great.

The roasted bone marrow was an outstanding (and decadent) starter. We also shared the cornbread which had enough jalapeño to add flavor without overpowering the other ingredients. I ordered the brisket, which was tender, moist, and delicious. I heard good things about the prime rib from my companion, but wasn't able to steal a bite. Excellent list of cocktails. I highly recommend the Bourbon Cider!

I will begin by saying that this was not our first dining experience at Dry Creek - hence the reason for our return visit on Saturday.
Our waite person was very personable and friendly - we ordered cocktails and they came perfectly as we had ordered them.
We both had the green chile soup and that was very good - we both enjoyed it.
My husband ordered the scallops and they were done well, but the side of risotto was without flavor - absolutely blah. My beet salad would have been good had I been able to find more beets on my plate - there were 2 and quite a bit of greens.
I know that there are off nights everywhere - it was just a very disappointing meal.

We had another mixed experience here. We had excellent service from Ashley who was very attentive to taking care of us. Drinks were awesome as usual. But the kitchen really had some misses. The hanger steak which is normally tender and delicious had little flavor and was tough this time. And I was very excited to see prime rib available tonight (my favorite), but the meat was so chewy that parts were inedible. With such a great menu, I just hope the quality can get more consistent.

We had a poor experience considering we came here for a birthday celebration. Thinking we reserved an early seating, we expected to have adequate attention and service. While our drinks, appetizers and sides arrived promptly, our entrees arrived 40 minutes later. It's always an unpleasant experience when all you have is excess time to observe several groups that arrived later than you, get served or complete their meals long before you get your entrees.

Always a great food experience when we dine at Dry Creek. The biggest problem is the noise level and being seated in an area of the restaurant where you can carry on a conversation. We were seated next to a table that was having a good time, but one male seemed to be entertaining the group and practically screamed when he wanted to be heard. It got old very quickly. Tough for a restaurant to do anything about the behavior of its guests.

I was charged extra for getting baked beans instead of the coleslaw that came with my dish. I thought that was petty. In addition, the beans were lukewarm, under-cooked, and weird-tasting. I did not enjoy them and hardly touched them. Overall, I was not impressed by the food.

The food was Amazing! My husband ordered the fish special, which was Ahi Tuna served with Brussels Sprouts and Warm Potato Salad. The sauces on both the Brussels sprouts and the potato salad were both delicious and they complemented each other so wonderfully! The Brussels Sprouts were cooked to Perfection! We are both lovers of Brussels Sprouts, but these were delectable! I only wish people who don't like them could try these, as it would totally change their minds! This is how they should always be cooked! I had the Filet Mignon served with Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Maple Glazed Carrots. My meal was also Amazing! The flavors we're all perfectly delicious! The meat was cooked to perfection! We have been to Dry Creek Grill several times in the past two years and we have never been disappointed! It is definitely our go-to restaurant for special occasions!

Great service and food. It was a little odd that we had a reservation but had to wait to be seated. They said our table would be ready soon. Then we ended up being sat at a table that had been empty the whole time with other surrounding empty tables. A hostess and manager manned the desk and told us this. It seemed awkward.
