Comment: Current structure is a 1 story, 2 bed, 1 bath, 1949 house with a crawl space and an addition built in the 1970's onto the back of the house. Addition is plumbed for a laundry, but has no duct work and was built on post and pier, not foundation. Current house with addition is 900 sf, original 1949 structure excluding the addition is 710 sf. The remodel would involve demolishing the addition, and then adding a foundation for an additional 742sf in its place, increasing the house to about 1452 sf. REMODEL TO THE EXISTING HOUSE will include: 1) the current bathroom (and wet wall) will be moved to a new location but still in the existing house, 2) a new additional bathroom will be added in the existing house (the two new bathrooms will share the same wt wall) 3) three openings will be cut into the load bearing back wall of the existing house, 1 of these openings about 8 feet across and will require a new beam. NEW ADDITION will include: 1) a new master, 2) a new guest/kid's bed

Comment: I plan to add one more room for both guest room and study room to the existing structure of two bedrooms and 2 baths. I need ideas to relocate the 2nd bathroom to be between 2nd and 3rd bedroom. I don't want to change the lay out too much if I don't have to, I just want to utilize the extra squarefoot I have and make the house more comfortable and nicer.
