I'm a Penn Foster graduate with Diploma in Carpentry. I am available to do all types of carpentry and woodwork including decks, patios, porches,storage rooms up to 400 square feet(20' X 20') and fence work. Project: Install or Replace Window Glass
After speaking with multiple companies and contractors on window repair, I continued to get the run around. Everyone wanted to completely replace my windows instead of repairing them, driving their profit and my cost way up. I found Silva's Carpentry on Home Advisor and gave them a shot. Mario Silva and I set up a time for him to take a look at what I needed. He provided an estimate and was able to begin work right away. I was in a time crunch and Mario helped me out significantly. The price, timeliness and quality of work were all excellent. For window repair, give Silva's Carpentry a chance to take a look.

Mr. Silva arrived as scheduled and assessed the repair to my sliding glass door. Both rollers to the door needed replacement. He replaced them in short order at a price that was very reasonable. He also improvised a repair to the frame that facilitated the ability to lock the sliding door. We're very happy with his work and friendly personality. Mr. Silva is an Army veteran having served with the Big Red One. I was happy to get such great service and give the work to a military veteran.

Project: Window Repair
Mr. Silva called to make an appointment he then called a second time to see if would be acceptable to start early. Of course I said yes. He completed the job, cleaned up the work site and advised me that if there were any problems just call.

Project:
Terrible. Do not even bother with this guy, waste of time. Met with Silva to price job on cabinets, he stated he would send estimate that day. Two days goes by and no estimate and multiple calls not answered or responded to. Hired him, giving benefit of the doubt of maybe a rare thing with him.....BAD IDEA. Guy again did not respond to multiple calls and messages as well as E-mails over a period of four days.
Response by Silva's Carpentry of San Antonio: First my other reviews speak for themselves.I never was hired or sign a contract with this customer,and he kept changing dates on when to start project.This will be my only response as my work and prior customers are always avaliable as references.
