Comment: this is a house at 68 Montgomery Street in the south end of Boston. It is a brownstone with no front yard, just runs up to the sidewalk. When it rains we get water in our "coal bins" that run under the sidewalk in the front of our house. The gutter downspout in the front of our house just dumps water onto the sidewalk which is the source of the trouble. However, there seems to be no way to re-route the water.
