Reviews of Denver Tile Flooring Installers

Project: Install Ceramic or Porcelain Tile
Denver, CO

Dave made an estimate stuck to it and sent a great guy to install the product. This was not an easy job as the Tile cost was $87/square foot and required excellent knowledge and experience installing glass tile. Mike did a great job was clean and someone that you don't mind having in your home. Would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone.

Project: Install Ceramic or Porcelain Tile
Littleton, CO

The job done was not as perfect as I expected. The tile grout color we chose came out much lighter than we wanted. We had no idea and the contractor never told us that the color might not match. Overall AZM were fast clean and affordable.

Project: Repair Ceramic or Porcelain Tile
Denver, CO

I needed a shower in my bathroom repaired, a lot of grout and several tiles were loose or falling out. They were able to repair and replace all the missing and damaged grout, as well as build a new shelve in a window that ended up having cracked tiles that were causing leaking water into the back of the shower. Now I'm all fixed up and the shower looks almost brand new.

Ideas & Inspiration from Denver Tile Contractors

Denver Ceramic Tile

Few tiling products are more versatile and varied than ceramic tile in Denver. Because there is an almost limitless number of ways that clay can be mixed, manufactured, fired, shaped, finished, glazed, colored, imprinted, textured, and sized, the sky is the limit when it comes to choosing ceramic tile in Denver for any need. If you are interested in installing ceramic tile in your Mile High City home, here's some information about everything from applications to design possibilities, so that you're not going in blind when you decide to contact a retailer or contractor about purchasing and installing ceramic tiles in your home on the range (the Front Range, that is).

Tile is Suitable Anywhere Inside (and Outside) Your Home

While most homeowners think of Denver ceramic floor tile when they think ceramic tiles, ceramic tiles can be utilized just about anywhere in your home, as well as in outdoor applications. Popular uses of ceramic tile indoors include use as bathroom tile (in showers and around tubs), on kitchen countertops and bathroom vanities, as kitchen backsplashes, decorative wall tile, and as floor tile in Denver. Ceramic tile in Denver can also be used outdoors for patios, walkways, and pool decks, though you need to make sure you get a frost-proof tile that is dense enough to resist cracking from the freeze-thaw cycles of Denver's winters.

Design

The reason ceramic tile can be installed virtually anywhere to good effect is because it can be produced to take on so many different looks. Most tiles can be broken down into three categories: glazed, unglazed, and porcelain, though even within those classifications, there's a lot to choose from. Here's some common ceramic tile designs that you're likely to run into if you're shopping around.

  • Standard Glazed Tile— This is the most common ceramic tile in Denver that you'll come across. Glazes can be dull, matte, or shiny, and come in just about any color imaginable, including variegated and painted designs.

  • "Stone" Ceramic Tile— While ceramic tile can be made to look like just about anything, perhaps the most popular Denver ceramic floor tile imitates stone. Rough textures and irregular coloring and glazing can produce ceramic tile in Denver that looks like limestone, polished and tumbled marble, granite, travertine, slate, and others. Most people can't tell the difference between ceramic and the real thing, making these tiles a great choice for homeowners looking for a bargain combination of looks and cost (ceramic is much cheaper than stone).

  • Tumbled and Hand Made Tile— Tumbled and hand made tiles bring a rougher, more pastoral look to ceramic tiles than the refined ceramic tile we're used to seeing in most places today, though in reality, these tiles are nothing new. After all, the terra cotta and saltillo tiles that are synonymous with Southwestern architecture and design, have been embracing this ceramic tile design for hundreds of years already.

  • Decorative Tile— Decorative ceramic tile in Denver comes in as many shapes and forms as any other. Stamped, molded, and hand painted ceramic tile can introduce natural images, festive colors, and other accents into your overall tile design. Smaller mosaic tiles are also great for decorative purposes, and are the perfect solution if you would like to include larger murals or more complex tile designs into walls, countertops, and bathrooms, or if floor medallions or decorative borders are part of your design for a ceramic floor tile in Denver.

    Costs and Project Durations

Laying tile isn't impossible for a capable home handyman to take on, though it can be a time consuming and tedious project. Furthermore, if it's not done right, you can end up having to repair or replace the tile in short order. That being said, do your homework if you're a DIYer, and seek out the help of someone who is experienced in tile installation to get the advice and help of an expert. For the rest of the homeowners along the Front Range, the most important decision you'll make is who you hire to do the job for you. Based on the information HomeAdvisor collects from homeowners who've used our services in the past, an average ceramic tile installation in Denver runs $1,275, and takes about four days to complete. Keep in mind those numbers can vary widely from project to project, mostly depending on the materials you use, how complicated your design ends up being, and how much of your home you're planning to tile. The only way to get an accurate estimate for your particular project is to bring in a few contractors, collect some bids, and choose the best combination of price, service, and workmanship. Do that and your Denver ceramic tile installation should go off without a hitch.
