On the day of install everything went well. They installed about 10 windows and sliding door all in one day. It was really nice to have it all done in one day and it wasn't a long process. I would recommend them. The quality of window are very nice. However, it did take a while for the windows to be prepared and to schedule an install date.

Project: New Windows
I needed two new windows for my rental house. I contacted California Deluxe Windows to get a quote. On May 10, 2017 Nick Ashnalikyan and another gentleman came to the house to give me a quote on new windows. After his presentation I was told it would take 6 to 8 weeks for them to build and install the new windows. I was having tenants move in June 1, 2017 so this time frame did not work for me. I told Nick that I was going to look into other companies. I was told by Nick that since it was only two windows they could have it done and installed within two to three weeks. He assured me that the work would be completed by the June 1 tenant move in date. On May 29th, 2017 I received a call from a young lady at California Deluxe Windows to schedule the installation. She told me the earliest date they had was June 14, 2017. I informed her that Nick had made a verbal commitment to have the work completed with two to three weeks. She told me I would have to contact Nick directly. On May 30, 2017 at 10:38 a.m. I phoned Nick and inquired as to why the installation date was not in the promised time frame. He told me he had to call the owner to see what he could do, and he would call me back shortly. At 4:45 p.m. I still had not heard back from Nick so I phoned him. He told me there was nothing he could do and further told me it would take 6 to 8 weeks. I again explained to him that he made a verbal contract with me to have the job completed within two to three weeks. He gave the phone to a lady (Tracy Brough). I explained to her about the verbal contract Nick had made. She told me she had rescheduled someone so they could have my windows installed on June 16, 2017. My question to her was then why not reschedule someone to fit into my promised two to three week time frame. She had no answer other than they were very busy. It appears that Nick never did have any real intention on having the windows done within the promised time frame but instead used that deception to get a sale. The contract has a three day cancellation time frame and of course in that short time I was still under the belief that there would be no breech of verbal contract and that the work would be completed in the promised time. Now i will have to find reasonable accommodations for my tenants the day of the installation , and they have to look at a large piece of plywood until the window is installed.

Our windows look perfect. * Reason for the low rating is that during install, the granite under one kitchen window was damaged (a rather large crack with some of the granite shattering leaving a hole). I realize that accidents happen & we're hopeful that CDW will replace the damaged granite. Once the damage is fixed, I will gladly adjust the rating to reflect the actual windows.

We replaced 4 windows am satisfied with the quality. Sales presentation was a little too rehearsed and high pressure. Probably paid too much as there are no prices published to research. Installation turned out to be a 2 day ordeal as the crew found the job more challenging than expected and could not finish in 1 trip. We still have not seen the follow up visit that was promissed

Company was so accommodating to our needs. We had challenges with our window replacement because of homeowner association requirements and existing shutters. Other companies could not meet our needs without charging a lot of extra money and involving additional contractors. California Deluxe Windows did it all for us at a reasonable cost. The sales staff was very helpful and the installation crew was on time, worked efficiently, were pleasant, and cleaned up everything when finished. I am so pleased.
