The heavy rains in Spring 2017 led to serious water damage and mold in the lower floor/basement walls of our home. We needed help, stat! That is: demolition, mold remediation, and reconstruction---before our home crumbled.... We entertained bids from several places, but EZ Builders is who we selected. They called us immediately to set up an appointment and came out on the weekend. Our place is on a staircase, and older --- built into a huge hill back in the 1920s --- so the location is incredibly tricky for any sort of delivery, let alone major construction work. The first day they came out to do an appraisal, they mentioned their willingness to talk with any neighbors about the project, and they were the only contractors to say anything at all about the location, access/parking/traffic, courtesy, and how they'd work with the stairs. We knew we had a big job ahead, and there were lots of unpredictable aspects --- the cost and timeframe couldn't be determined until the extent of hidden-damage was uncovered by demolition --- but we felt confident and comfortable with them. The choice was made. They started work right away, assessed the damage after demolition, and working with partners, moved to get everything built right back in just a couple of weeks. New walls, new floors. We cannot tell anything was ever wrong. On the outside, they completely sealed all of the points of entry for moisture so this will never happen again (the demolition revealed there were gaps left by previous owners who had done some wall-work, but the filled in everything, even doing some foundation repair, and then did a full seal). Remarkable. I was practically in fetal position when all of this started, but everything went smoothly: from the initial inspection, to mold remediation, to the full reconstruction effort that was both above & below ground. The project managers, Sharon & Ziv were terrific---a *wonderful* team. They were on-top of everything, very communicative, we had a lot of say, step-by-step, and our neighbors were never inconvenienced (this was a HUGE concern for me: we love our neighbors). And now it's over! We had no idea what we were in for at the beginning, but we are so relieved and *happy* with how this all went. We are recommending them all over the place. The team that worked on my house was polite and very clean. Every day they cleaned the worksite. I had to have added support added to my ceiling beams due to an air conditioning unit and new drywall added as there were many cracks in my ceiling. It looks great and the workers were professional. Nathan didn't try to sell more than what was needed, which I truly appreciated.

Work required structural engineer plans. Abe reviewed plans and knew how to follow plans. Communicated every stage of work. Finished within time frame given.
