Not too bad, had to repair the mortar to be safe to burn Seemed somewhat expensive, however I am not that familiar with this type of service.

Fixed a bad job done by a previous contractor, Joseph got us up and running in 2 days (Friday evening and Saturday nonetheless)! Very polite, fair prices, and cleaned up well after the job.

The quality of the work the very courteous techs did was fantastic! After 2 hours of very detailed work, I essentially now have a new & safe fire box, without having to replace the bricks. However, before I made the appt, I asked for a "ballpark"estimate by phone, which I felt was acceptable, because I was told more than once the cost would not exceed about $300. As this was a "ballpark" estimate, I figured the repair estimate would not go beyond about $350, for purposes of my restricted budget. Even though I am thoroughly satisfied with the work, & I would hire PCCS again, I was very shocked when the bill was over $600 which to me, is way beyond the "ballpark" estimate I was given (double the amount). To be fair, I should add that the cost included an inspection, a chimney cleaning, & repairs of the firebox. I also asked the techs to check the dryer vent, which they did, , & it was "99%" clean, so I was not charged for this service. Except for the high service cost that I was not prepared for, the overall service from PCCS was excellent,
