Neighbor had hired 2 The Max to repair some poor work on deck done by another contractor. Talked with Curtis and had him look at our deck which was either in need of replacement or some pretty serious repairs and after reviewing bids went with 2 The Max to repair our deck. As Curtis proceeded with the repairs and was removing parts of our deck he started to find issues in the original deck construction (not bolted to the house correctly, main supports about ready to topple due to deck movement away from house, long support beams without sufficient support blocks, posts with rot once top rail was removed etc.) He could easily have just done the requested update i.e. replaced the top rail or deck boards and ignored the underlying issues but he brought all issues to our attention and had options for how to continue. Of course the repairs took longer (causing him scheduling issues with other jobs) and cost more but the end result is that we have a solid deck that will now last for much longer than it would have if these issues were not addressed. Integrity and quality work are welcome qualities in today's contracting world.

Curtis is by far one of the best workman to do work in your home. He's is an absolute perfectionist. I would recommend his work to anyone that needs work done. He's one of the best, fair prices and excellent workmanship

Project: Repair Drywall
Curtis repaired my drywall in the utility room which was damaged by leaking pipes. He did an excellent job, making it look like it did before. He stayed at the job until finished; dedicating 2.5 days to me only.

I hired Curtis to repair a very distressed deck. He did a phenomenal job and I couldn't be more pleased with the result. Very prompt, considerate, and an extremely hard worker. I feel so fortunate to have found him and absolutely plan to hire him again for future projects.

Curtis does great work at a very reasonable price. He responded promptly to my phone calls and explained things thoroughly. When I was unable to be home, he sent me before-and-after pictures of problem areas on my deck and stairs. He is courteous and professional. I am very pleased with the repairs and painting and would definitely hire him again. I recommend him highly!
