Comment: Raccoon damaged roof which caused major leak into the attic crawl space after an all-day rain. This caused a ceiling leak in a bedroom which caused part of carpeting to become soaked before the leak was discovered. Leak seemed to stop but eventually part of the bedroom ceiling collapsed from water settling underneath insulation, weakening ceiling plaster board. The roof damage has been repaired by people who installed solar panels on roof. Need to remove wet portion of insulation, dry the area, replace insulation, repair and paint ceiling, and maybe peel back carpet to dry carpet, padding and sub-floor, re-lay carpet.
