Comment: Hello, I'm inquiring as to the cost to raise my 2100 sq ft home about 4-5 feet to elevate it above the 100 yr base flood elevation. The home was built in 1926 and has an accessible crawl space about 2ft high. It currently sits on pyramid shaped concrete 'piers' and has large beams running throughout (the piers and beams appear to be relatively new compared to the age of the home, so it may have been raised at some point in the past). There is an interior chimney as well. The only services that would need to be modified would be the water/sewer. Power comes in from above and I don't have gas service. Any assistance you could provide would be great. Thanks.
