Comment: Old house. I have an outlet on top of a foot tall piece of pipe stuck in concrete, in the backyard. The outlet stopped working after the 7 years we've been here so I disassembled the outlet and tested the wires coming out and got no power. Dead. The outlet in it's location is very valuable and I need it working. I don't know where the wires connect to power, it's halfway between the back of the house (where the panel is) and the garage.
